Are you looking at collectorstime / MWF? smile.gif

Don't see Mille Miglias up for sale often, but IMO 7k is alright.

to be fair, the Sky model has a very unique complication....
of course the dial design takes getting used to...but Rolex's design has this ability of slowly seducing you...hehehe

plus the fact that Rolex's popularity and niche have always been in the tool/sporty concept...maybe there's some new direction there...

but its interesting, to see Rolex launching such a model..but it looks very very expensive...might reach SGD 50k? fuyoooo!
*
Probably they have been pretty "conservative" looking all these while, thus they put on that new colorful dial which of course adding more value on the watch

since you've been thinking about it, most probably poison went inside system already..hahaha

well, MWF is a very close community....and if you're in KL....you're in good spot..many many of them know best place for bargains....especially preowned...

12k...you got price right....should be those above 2000 below 2006 series....

..when hunt for Exp2, need to consider
-polar or black.
-3186 or 3185
-want to aim for vintage patina look or want to see bright green lume at night..  tongue.gif
-if preowned, buy seller

and then when you consider rolex...before long..you'll get confused because subs also nice, GMT also nice, hahah

But one thing la...dont wear Rolex because everyone wears one...Wear it after you read, browse and think deeply on the position of Rolex as a watch brand in horology world..and after that if you still think you should own one..go for it.. I started as a non-Rolex believer too..haha

..for Zenith... dial 1800-HANZ079... tongue.gif
seriously, you're really the in house expert..haha
*
Thanks bro for listing down d essential points. I agreed many ppl tend to buy watch with the brand and not knowing more about it's history or details of movement etc ( including myself most of the time). Frequent visiting Of this thread & mwf poisoning me further sweat.gif

I will opt for polar with green lume (d newer model with blue lume is so cool though ), I have bought a white date just for my wife few yrs ago, been using my speedmaster most of the time, so, a white explorer ii may match with my wife's unit tongue.gif

My dads tag. There's alot of minor scratches and dirt around the watch. What is the mmost suitable way to cclean it? And its not mmoving too..  gotta get it checked. Can I roughly know how much will it cost to repair a watch like this? And do they charge you for cleaning your watch? Thanks!

Added on May 10, 2012, 11:18 pmOr is there any reputable and honest watch shops out there? Thanks..

always send back to Tag service center, at least part and servicing guaranteed. and they give warranty for any service/part replaced.
