So fragile? You can always get a beater that you won't sakit hati if break or scratched. This is mine... worn this since 2007. Bought it cos I was travelling quite often and money was tight. But I love it to bits

Yup though not too good for resale value though... I've gone through 3 cycling accidents that left me bleeding wearing that Seiko and all it got was some minor scratches flex.gif

well its not quite there but they still have some pricey watches.

There is something that will deter me from owning a Seiko GS.

If the Spring-Drive mecha goes "konk".... have to send back to Japan.

Take ages and lots of money spend.

Stowa only via online.
Laco nearest is Gnonmon in Singapore
Archimede can get it at WWI in Mont Kiara,

There are 4 movement calibers to choose from the GS line up:
Quartz 9F
Mechanical 9S
Spring Drive 9R
Spring Drive Chronograph 9R86

Can always go for 9F or 9S.

Guys i got a question. I tried a 42mm Navy watch with 10mm thickness and it suits me perfectly, and planning to buy a 42mm watch with 12/13mm thickness, will there be any significant difference? Will the watch looks bigger?

Sadly, it is the same for all JDM models at the moment. I wonder if they will fix 6r15 calibres locally.

True. Anyway, mechanical movements are proven to work reliably for years.
6R15 was brought in by Thong Sia. It would be better to call them and check. Checking their website they do list GS and 6R20 watches now.

I'm still waiting for parts ordered fully paid in advance from Thong Sia in May till now for my rebuild project... Sigh.
