QUOTE(qeyaqilah @ Oct 7 2015, 12:52 PM) Omg, probably you are right, I took out the humidify filter and thats the smell I found! It was a little bit yellowish on the filter. I tried to soak and clean it and now it seems to be better! |

I'm now wondering is it normal to have some smell when we switch on.
The smell was reduced after I cleaned the humidifying filter but it's still there at hepa filter. Any kcd60ew or kcd40ew user here? |

QUOTE(kimsim @ Oct 12 2015, 12:44 AM) Using humidifier will increase lower room temperature, so my AC pre-set temp will reaching faster than b4 Oh really? Learned it now, thanks! Do you change the water daily? I called to the shop just now, they said probably the smell is from ion. Do you smell something when you switch on without ac? QUOTE(idoblu @ Oct 12 2015, 08:08 AM) That doesnt makes sense at all If your room are big, and the AP far a way from FCU, maybe wouldn't help.Using a humidifier will make your room more humid and the aircon will have to work harder to get rid of the moisture Last time my living don't have AP so we turn on AC at 10am morning, once we use AP with humidifier mode, can maintenace slighly cooling until after lunch then turn on AC at around 1-2pm Just get and try out by you. AC thermostat is detect the room temp, nothing affact to AC working condition. Just realise room temp. lowest and cut off early. Sharp humidifier is very fine, you can't see the smoke come out from the unit. This post has been edited by kimsim: Oct 12 2015, 08:59 AM |
