AC = Aircon, AC cut off time, meant temperature reached & achieved faster than without using humidifier AP.

Usually taken 2-3 hrs, but after usage AP with humidifier less than 1 hr already feel that AC keep runing as slow or compressor stop run.

Oh.. Hmm.. Agreed, water dropped a lots in ac room.
I'm not too sure is it charcoal or ion smell... Hmm.. Just worry it's toxin.
Yup, the smell has gone after few hours.
Just wonder the first two weeks, it seems to be no smell when turn on.

Actually charcoal got smell one.
Even hepa when new also got slighly bad smell.

But when i smell the carbon filter which full of charcoal, it doesn't have the charcoal smell?
how long you've been using it?

Hi guys. I've been calling up electrical shops in my area but all are out of stock. Does anyone know where I can still get sharp air purifier at reasonable price?

By reasonable price I mean:
FPF40 ~ RM 600 instead of RM 800
FPE50 ~ RM 900 instead of RM 1100

Been having the same situation like you, but today I accidentally opened up Lazada and voila, the model that I want is there on sale.
Guess what I'm trying to say is that you should consider looking into lazada, mudah or here for the alternatives.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do check them from time to time but don't seem to have the FPE50E model that I want.

Over the weekend I even found a deal to get KC-D60E for RM 1900 on ensogo but that's not the model I want so I let it go, as I already have a KC-A60E from which I concluded I do not need the humidifying feature.

But KCA-60E isn't available in M'sia?
From what I knew that model was exported model.

Thanks kimsim for the sharing. I bought the KC-A60E a few years ago before it was replaced by KC-D60E. I do not know why they still offer KC-A50E but not the 40 or 60.

I noticed that those models with humidifier could last 10 years before filter replacement while the rest could only last 2 years. This FP-E50E on the other hand could last 5 years. Having said that, I'll take a closer look FUA80EW. I might still change my mind. Thanks.

Just to add to the body of knowledge, the filter replacement cost for Sharp purifiers cost in the region of RM450 to RM500, every two years. The FUA80E would cost RM500 every time the filters are changed; it comes in a set which includes the HEPA and deodorizing filters.

Like you, I'm looking for the FPE50E but it is OOS in pretty much every retail store I've asked. The House of Air Cleaner in PJ tells me that they expect it restocked at the end of November. Hope this helps.
