The stock lock screen has reminder as well? I can't find the setting that's why look for third party app.
*
It tells you how many missed called and SMSes are received between the last time you locked it and the time you look at it last. I just called my two numbers, and yes, it shows.

It's the stock lock screen, not the pattern lock screen.

I can imagine put into sidepocket like Uncle Benny said but backpocket? Butt must look odd ~LOL~
Since somebody said it can be done means it can be done, odd look or not :-)
*
Here's how it would look:-

Even that model has to keep on pushing the device down her back pocket! laugh.gif

It can be done, BUT extremely uncomfortable on a traditional jeans. Khakis, cargo pants or Dockers, sure it'll hide the bulges, but better tighten that belt, else you don't wanna your pants to slip down due to the weight. tongue.gif

Guys, this "No LED" is cool man. It keeps blipping on your screen with the relevant app coloured icons and even has an option to have audio blip reminders( I use the PDAIR case which does not let me see my screen) to tell me there is some missed calls, sms or email etc...

Easy Rooting Toolkit. For those who don't wanna mess around much about kernels or ROMs, just simple root. I did mine and it's flawless.

7" form factor is really awkward - it is not big enough nor small enough, definitely not for me. I would rather having 5.3" Note for everyday use and a 10" tablet for longer time of browsing or watching videos etc. But since Note can output HDMI to TV, now it makes me less eager to get a 10" tablet but the delicious Asus Prime still in my CNY shopping list. biggrin.gif

Oh, I might missed that out since I configured company exchange email right after getting my gnote. It is required for me to set pin or password lock due to security imposed by exchange policy. I can't even set pattern lock now unless I delete the exchange sync. Hmmm.... hmm.gif

Yup, missed calls and SMSes are tallied and represented as symbols marked in red sphere inside the circular lock sphere. Easy to notice and to check as well.
