Just got back from Low Yatt and managed to get my screen protector for Rm50 from Samsung. The class 10 32GB are all still retailing for Rm289 and above.

Guys, anyone know if I just copy my current 16GB SD to the 32GB using the PC will copy everything including whatever hidden files? I don't want to interrupt the Note's "fine tuned" status in any way.
Is there a software that can copy the exact image of its contents to another card? |

As I suspected, you cannot copy the contents of your memory card to another as the device does not recognise some of the contents of the new card after transfer. Even if you had moved some of your apps to the memory card, now it does not show in the new card.
Is there any software out there that can mirror copy the memory card? I am sure some of you will be upgrading soon and you probably wanna know this. |

The couple of things I miss in the Samsung when it comes to the UI over my previous love for HTC's.
1. Lack of blipping lights to indicate missed calls 2. Sound profile widget 3. HTC's sense live weather main screen But it beats the crap out of the HTC's when it comes to battery life!! Wish these Samsung guys would at least consider putting in indicators for missed calls etc instead of having to push the button on the unit just to check if I had a missed call or txt message. |

I use mine with Maxis Unlimited data plan and have almost everything using data on and it lasts me about 1.75 days when I am stationery at one location. The moment I travel to another state then it drops to about 1.25days. The search for data I guess uses up its juice.

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Nov 23 2011, 06:01 PM) Create an account at www.Samsung.com/my. Then log into that Samsung sync option. Open www.samsungdive.com. Log into that with the same credentials. You can now track your Samsung device, call or send remote SMS via the Web browser or remote wipe/lock the phone. Man, that's cool. Other than Lookout, this is a cool one to remotely reach your phone. But what if the SIM card has been changed and the number? |

QUOTE(kuanj @ Nov 27 2011, 04:28 PM) Galaxy Note Yeah, I did post the same thing in an earlier thread but nobody can do anything as its a Samsung's feature not to include it. In fact I wrote to Samsung when I got the 1st Galaxy S and they even replied saying that they would consider this. But?????????Just purchased a galaxy note. My previous HTC HD2 has a led light which indicates the phone is being charged or fully charged. If there is a SMS the led light will be on. This feature is not found on the Galaxy Note. In order to check whether fully charged or SMS, the phone has to be on and display on the screen. Anyone would like to comment on this. I really miss it when I had my HTC. |

Guys, this "No LED" is cool man. It keeps blipping on your screen with the relevant app coloured icons and even has an option to have audio blip reminders( I use the PDAIR case which does not let me see my screen) to tell me there is some missed calls, sms or email etc...
