1, you need rm20 to buy the card right? with preloaded rm20 in it.

2, there's a benefit that if you buy 10 crafted beverages, the system will issue a free drinks after 10 drinks swiped, which means your 11th starbucks drinks is free.

3, so by using RM2 per transaction, you get to finish off your credit in the card and also getting the 11th drinks for free.

this method teaches you how to enjoy your starbucks benefit to the max (since you get a free drinks upon card registration and free cake on your birthday month). so by having 12 cards and register each on diff months, you get to have 1 slice of cake for free every month from starbucks. also, this is a very good method for starbucks card collector.

but for me, i dont use the method since i dont visit starbucks very often. maybe this flaw which starbucks purposely made is to pull more starbucks fanatic (if you are) to spend more at starbucks.
