i heard the s100 is really not worth the price. s90 is good enough

yeah, but I heard its actually about the same as s95..not much diff.

I still found s95 on ebay but not s90...
s95 about RM 1200

My x10 with 46mm filter and adapter.  Filter same diameter as the zoom ring so
the camera looks like it has a interchangeable lens attached. 

Mostly so I can use normal pinch type lens cap. Dont like the original cap
pumping and sucking action when you put on and remove it.( I imagine the dust
circulating in the camera due to that) I have always used filters on all my lens
and dont see any quality difference but I am sure in some situations there will be.
Unlike 52mm or 49mm the 46mm filter dont block the OVF much and looks ok on the lens.

I use the camera like you so I have not even upgraded the firmware. At a popular
US forum the problem is hotly debated with some cursing Fuji so if thy cannot solve the
technical problem then they should follow apple iphone 4 experience and offer refund to
those unhappy customers.

EF-20 iirc YL offered it for RM420.
the build quality is similar to the 3rd party ones like nissin with plastic hotshoe.
then again its suppose to be a sunpak rebranded, so not surprised.

anyway if u dont need bounce flash, the build-in x10 flash actually does a pretty decent job at throttling its output to match the scene, so u dont get as many hotspots.

Added on March 28, 2012, 5:02 pmI got it for 2 reasons. I want to use the flash without having to take off the hood. Using the internal flash with the hood is a bad idea.
Secondly, can save a little bit of the camera battery. Haven't got a spare yet.

It is very light without batteries. It also feels flimsy especially the battery cover and the built in diffuser. This thing is definitely overpriced for the build quality.

But you can fold the rotating part inside so it's small enough to put in your pocket. And power wise i think it's good enough for the occasional bounce flash usage.

Why all selling ar... all tired of interchangeable lens system already?

Just wondering can X10 image quality compare to the 20mm f1.7 lens? Thought of getting x10 because it has zoom and flash. less hassle

For those wanna wait and see outcome, will be glad to share when I get it back.

In dilemma whether to change to the new sensor due to orb effect...some complaint & regretted that the color is not as vibrant as before. So any suggestion guys ?
