u meant the glovent company? or the one you apply at indeed?

my tips is you try google the company 1st..usually they put company name below the job that the posted..if you cannot find anything about them in google..surela scam punya.. suruh jual barang or trading saham biggrin.gif
*
I think they keep on changing their names so that ppl wont recognize them. I applied at Indeed but the company name is different. But with the same method la. Like u need to attend the training for 5 days. Short interview. They dont disclose much on their company details.

I did googled about the company. And nothing came out except for a few job application. But i still went for the interview and i regret it.

Thank you to have such forum topic here. Because in the market employees do not know the true background of a company they would depends on for their dead and life.

I have a friend working for a company name rcr s/b (in KL) "RCR", is a enginerring firm, HQ in overseas, boiler OEM. RCR asi - Mid Valley - Mid valley
they would offer you high salary which above the market salary. So dear Engineers, please take note and do not jump in this boat with their baits they offer. Pls see the picture attached. You better stick with your current company to secure your rice bowl. The main issue for this company is the management, as long as you are not in their team, you are outsider and you can be get terminated any time. They hire people without seriously screening then fire people as they like. So if you wish for long term career, please re-think.[attachmentid=7623504] - tomlinson

At first I wanted to proceed but get suspicious and tried to search about tis job and end up here. Looks like it's a scam sad.gif but I really need a part time job (Home based). Anyone able to help/advice?

Last time, I try applied the Company Confidential label on jobstreet for Admin Exec position.
It turns out Tropicana Corporation Berhad company called me for interview session.

I guess some of the companies out there want to avoid high volume of application.
*
In the majority of cases, companies do that not because they need to remain anonymous, but because it's a confidential search, eg. to find a replacement for an existing employee who is about to get managed out.

Occasionally it could be because the company is going on a new market expansion or launching a new business unit and things are still under wraps but they need talent today already. Or due to a new direction that the business is heading towards that hasn't been officially announced to the public or for legal reasons, hence recruiters are not allowed to reveal the company name until they shortlist candidates from the pool of applicants.

As a job seeker, if you are trying to find out if this 'Company Confidential' is really worth your time, do this:

Scrutinise the job posting, see how in-depth the job description is, how well-articulated or presented it is, if the recruiter reveals anything about the industry or market that the employer is in, work culture, organisational values, etc. These are usually hallmark of a reputable and good employer worth applying to even if you don't know who at this stage.

Anyone heard of Swift Infinity? Is it a outdoor sales job? My son who just graduated with a Degree in Corp Comm received an invitation to attend an interview. But when I checked online, it says the job requirements are just Malaysian and 18 years old, and friendly. Not much info otherwise.

For sure a scam. No company will ever require a candidate or employee to pay money before joining or upon joining.

There are actually plenty of home-based work you can do, try thinking about what you are naturally interested in or have a talent for already. Freelancing work abound on sites like Fiverr as well as other sites more local to Malaysia / Southeast Asia. While you look for freelance work, also think about picking up skills you think might be useful (and again that you see yourself doing a few hours every day as working from home actually requires a lot of commitment and discipline than people think if you really want to make good money).

Alternatively, blog/create content/vlog on Youtube on whatever it is naturally interests you or that you have some familiarity and expertise in.

Sounds like salesperson/promoter-like work in a cultlike MLM setting, which if your son is jobless anyway and looking to earn money while he looks for a real job, would be a great alternative for gaining some useful sales experience.

Believe others have written about it prior, go check out this person's firsthand experience of working there.

So I'd say go for it, but definitely try out more legit companies that offer graduate trainee programs, entry level roles, internships, contract roles, etc. that are more reputable.
