Anyone went for this data entry job offered by Extreme-Gain in Phileo Damansara ?

It is a forex company and during the first interview , teach a bit about formula to calculate some profit/loss in forex which suppose to be what will be doing .

Each assignment will pay about RM480 and they will call for second interview

During 2nd interview , they try to persuade u to invest and open account with them , when we refuse , we were given a test trial assignment and told to return to them within 3 days

The trial test is a joke as I just use 5 minutes to calculate (by formula in Excel) the whole assignment and made me wonder why they need to pay RM480 to do the job

Anyway , I sent them the trial test assignment and were told to wait for a week ....

and then when I enquire about the result , they told me their HR department has sent me an email about it amd since I did not receive it , I have to wait for another week ?????

Hmmmm anyone has similiar exprience ?

any recruitment company that requires job seekers to pay upfront before they get them the job must be avoided at all cost...

keep away from forex companies unless ur working in a bank...last time i was cheated to work for this one forex company also..after suspecting sumthing amiss i called up bank negara and they said they never issued any forex license to non-banking companies..so theya re actually doing it illegally..or wrse..theres no trading going on at all..they just deceive u with this mock trading and when u lose they pocket the money..

generally i can concur, but i beg to differ. i was required to hand in a token sum as a deposit in case i cabut after signing the employment contract. i was taken aback then but felt it was not a cheat, judging by the business they are doing. so i tested my fate and got back the deposit. and now enjoying a very compensating work environment.

however, the moral of the story is do observe and make ur own judgement.

Hi. Not sure if I post this at the correct place.

Recently go for an interview for the position of financial planner in a company that claimed that they provide financial services. They persuaded me that I am working as if like a business owner not an employee. I thought will be able to learn about financial stuff and wealth management as a financial planner so I join in. But I feel that what they want me to do is selling their products mostly is insurance. Also seminars will be held every week, I feel as if they are going to brain wash me.

Did I think too much? Am I too suspicious? Anyone been conned with the position named financial planner?

^what do u need to do? financial planner shouldnt be doing forefront sales.

Hm... Yesterday i went interview at 2 agency in KL, for Part Time (from STAR Classifieds too).

At 1pm i went to first company at Imbi Plaza (first time i know Imbi Plaza have office.. hehe). She told me.. bla..bla.. Their clients will pay 300-450 per assignment but then she told me to pay rm145 for administration and agreement process.

Then on 3pm, went to second company at Wisma Central (near KLCC/Pelita nasi kandar), same process too.. Need to pay 150 'pulak' if their clients need part-timer. WTF?!

Around 7 o'clock today, the first company call me that they have assignment for me at Travel Agencies, located at Angkasa Raya (Near KLCC). Then i said OK'lah, will bring the 145rm tommorow. Actually this money i want use it for upgrade handphone and pay streamyx.

But after thinking~thinking~and thinking.. Alhamdulillah, i got guide from God. Then I tried googling "PENIPUAN AGENSI PEKERJAAN", and get some news & experience about this scam..

Before interview with those agensi, i apply at Recruit Express. They offer me to interview at Astro Bukit Jalil, but no deposit. Only salary "sikit" Rm5.50/hour. Badly, dont get the job.. But its ok, we can trust them.

About this fraud agency.. Do you think i need to report POLIS, guys??

Financial planners are basically ppl who help their customers manage their money by buying products that *may* appreciate like bonds,trusts,insurance and such. If its a reputable company oklah. Either way sure kena brainwash one...

I think the job is becoming more popular here as banks offer low interest rates on savings, many ppl want to find ways to get their money to have higher returns.

Are there good jobs out there, especially part-time, I think we have to go to the company directly and investigate whether genuine or not?

I went to this company for interview two days ago. This company is doing something call Land Banking. Have u heard of this company? Their career path is similiar as Insurance company. They posted in jobstreet saying that looking for Land Management Executive. They asked me to come for the 3-day training session to know me better.

Should I go? The company is called "W***** Inc", located at Uncle L**'s building.
I need some one to give me advice.

anything regarding management trainee or IT works which u can find anywhere that u can see the company is link to cobra group or Regal group of companies, i would advise not to go....i have very bad experience with them also... after i finish my diploma and waiting for results, i went to interview with them at dreamworks acquisiton at megan avenue 2 near klcc beside ambank building...and 1st day is 1st interview la...2nd day...field training lolzz...they send me to puchong with a senior, and i stay at bandar sunway (i thought of driving to puchong and can go back after that) but he insisted that i go on his car(i think its so that i cant go anywhere) and after seeing the job(which i had suspected earlier that it was something to do with direct seeling(and i just want to know what they were selling) and thats y i went with them......and after the thinggie, he asked if i could go back to klcc by myself ( which stuns me for 3 seconds) and he even teach me how to take the bus to pasar seni which takes about 1 hour and then lrt to klcc which takes about 15 minutes...and bla bla bla...i was like mother f***er you fetch me here and you dont plan to fetch me back??? and luckily my mom was working somewhere near puchong and i asked her to fetch me to lrt.....and at lrt...i was stunned again....when i saw my wallet only have rm2....(2 piece of RM1) and to go back to klcc, i need rm2.30....so i search all over and luckily i manage to find 1 20cents and 10 1cents....and i made my way alll the way back to klcc to meet that director,and let him have his 3rd interview and said that i was very potential and etc etc....and ask me to work with him...since i was so f***ed up, i agree to work with him and the next day...haha i juz f*** him on the phone and slam the phone..... ^^i wasted rm20++ and my very very very precious time with this f***ing company....

ermm yes i heard b4, its a real MLM but i wouldn't advise you to join, if you wanna join a MLM, go for some bigger company....

And a very bad experience from jobstreet, i applied for a job of nutritionist, and 1 day a lady called me from hp no. and address herself as kerry ann.....and offered me a job of supervisor and marketing(something) and asked if i wanted part time or full time....part time 3k full time 7k....(was kinda suspicious already) but since jobstreet says that surely no direct sales and etc...so i went for the interview at Wisma MCA which i thought is 1 of the office there....and she sounded like a foreigner so very promising instead....i wake up early in the morning to drive to lrt and lrt to ampang park(cause lazy to drive there very jam) and called her, she say will be done in 5 minutes and i waited for her for about 1 hour and finally she called and asked where i am, and said she cant see me...so i said i was standing right in front here...and she asked me to go to secret recipe bside the wisma and said that she's at there for very long already waiting for me.. BS!!!! cause when i saw her, she was all sweaty and the shop was actually aircond.....but nvm...she continue by saying this interview 2 part,part 1 is normal info,2nd part is more technical and informative...then start telling me company background la...how ppl success la..which makes me even more suspicious and finally revealed the company name called HERBALIFE!!! which stunned me straight away cause i'm in mlm for quite some time and not interested in other mlm...wants to search for more experience now....and when she finish 1st round, i juz said sorry i'm not interested in direct selling so dont waste your time and my time....and juz left.....sucker waste my whole day time and mood....waste my money also.... wat a jerk...using such way to get prospect.....

I am in Herbalife but I don't understand why some foreigners and even the company want us to advertise like we are not MLM and wasted some poeple's time. They might not know MLM is so common in Malaysia.
If anyone like to do Herbalife , pls pm me, we help you to cut your starting investing to just 500vp.
