QUOTE(snigapoe @ Nov 17 2011, 08:28 PM) U don need sd card to flash new rom somehow the backup still retain even i did full wipe Titanium backup is in your internal SD. Wiping data does not wipe internal SD. It is just like factory reset. Added on November 17, 2011, 9:09 pmQUOTE(fabianz03 @ Nov 17 2011, 08:31 PM) really ? you sure or not. i need a confirmation on this Yes really you don't need external SD. But like del piero said, its an additional place for you to store backups in case your internal sd get corrupted or formated. This post has been edited by antt00: Nov 17 2011, 09:09 PM

QUOTE(del_Piero10 @ Nov 17 2011, 08:51 PM) my advice for 1st timer of flasing custom rom, additional sd card is a must for you to put all ur essential back up files such as efs, cwm back up file. we never know what will happen during the flash process. better late than sorry later. but then again, its not mandatory to have additional sd card, if you can live with only 16Gb on board memory space to keep all your songs and videos.. P/S: use hktool to create back up for your efs file. this efs contain ur phone details such as imei # etc.. Added on November 17, 2011, 8:53 pmu mean the voltage setting? try setCPU for beginners or voltage controller for expert. setCPU has the profile settings? like smartass, ondemand ?

I'll get a 8GB SC4 since those cards are rather cheap nowadays and it's always good to have backups "emegency" plan if proposed plan doesn't go as planned.

You need to copy it in /system/app and set the correct permission, not install like other app.

hmnn...I'm planning to get a Samsung S2 phone.. which one shall i choose? I9100 or I9100G? apparently, I heard the old I9100 model has better 3D performance in android gingerbread using the RM Cortex A9 Exynos chipset. On the other hand, the new S2 I9100G model with TI-OMAP chipset which is the same soc with Nexus which is currently used for Android ice cream sandwich...seems like the intention of the chipset upgrade is for the upcoming Android ice cream sandwich? http://popherald.com/samsung-galaxy-s2-a-l...news/2011/11/11Do you think the old I9100 ( Exynos chipset) might run into compatibility issue when upgrading to Android ice cream sandwich in future?

G version dun get much custom rom love yet..
