What is the ROM you are having now?
Did you just flash the modem file of XXKI1?
You need to tell what you did before your baseband changed toXXKI1.

attached a thumbnail in previous post.
what i did before
flash checkrom hd 2.0.0 and siyah dk kernel
install mods and themes from kitchen,
did a nandroid backup and restore.
flash checkrom hd 3.1.1 (i notice the baseband version is xxki1 here)
did a nandroid restore to before i flash 3.1.1

Simply because check ROM 3.1.1 comes with ki1 modem. Nothing wrong there. Just flash ki4 modem if you want to.

Does this mean that it's not so good to clear RAM from time to time?
*
I don't see any need to clear ram as we have more than enough. I have never clear it before.

Other than task killer, is there any other app that will auto clear memory?
*
Not sure if this works but you can stop all application but closing it completely. At times, we might forget smile.gif Just my 2 cents though. Not really bothered with the memory thingy.

You mean you having problem rooting S2?

Easiest way. Downlaod Litening/batista/VR or any custom rom.

Once install finish, also rooted already smile.gif Then flash whatever rom, kernel that you wish.

Before that, do a full wipe on phone (can even factory reset) to be safe.

Some users have reported this issue but seldom happens. If it happen everytime better get to samsung service center. Could be faulty battery or connection.

Actually easiest way is to download CF kernel. Less than 10mb download compared to a whole rom and just flash with odin. Plus it will give you CWM app which makes it easier for new user to enter CWM and remove yellow triangle for those without jig.
