i believe the HTC flyer's pen is using different technology. that one requires battery...

so yours can colour all the four edges with black completely at the S Pen test without leaving a slight uncoloured edge?

I have also some minor issue on the S Pen while writing. This morning I tried to write and the black line is behind my S Pen located. I have to reset the phone and back to slightly better.

mine can except certain portions at bottom edge
i am not too concerned as i will only be jotting mostly in the middle of screen n will never need to use the edges

Mine even worst

I can colour all the box except a fine line at the all the bottom square an all the right hand square which i believe is normal for right handed person. As long as i can dots all the square and 'PASS' the test then it's good enough for me. No need service centre now :-P

i think most of us have the exact same things.

EDIT: after reading waveweaver's reply - can conclude ALL of us has the exact same thing. And since changing the setting from right handed to left handed will change the area affected from right to left - it is clearly not a hardware defect.

And I believe if there is too much complaint on this, Samsung might come out with an update to allow every single pixels on the screen to be access, since it can be fixed with software.

So Conclusion - our Note is in perfect condition.

yes, i believe by firmware update should resolve this problem.

if it is indeed manufacturing defects then samsung will have to recall all the galaxy note sold in malaysia for the pass 3 days. I dont think this is going to happen

then somebody need to clarify this with Samsung service centre, right?

btw, the GPS locks scarily FAST!! Test using Papago X5 during the weekend. The GPS locks within 1-2 seconds!! So much faster than my DHD which normally took about 5 minutes or more if i did not use it for a while. Think Samsung must have learn their lesson from the poor GPS in their first gen SGS.

too bad..KK1 also not available at sammobile/samfirmware... else your note will be malaysian

follow uncle benny procedures - works like charm although the menu will hang in the middle but no big deal, still can use like usual.
