How i wish Intratech buy a Note and open up Note official firmware thread like the one for SGSII. It's a lot easier to keep track for any new firmwares for the AP set

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 14 2011, 08:39 AM) No. You should be able to draw at all the square/edges and get a 'PASS' pop up. Otherwise go for calibration at service centre have you tested yours? Your Note can draw at the left and bottom edges in full? Just tested mine, exactly the same as manglersji. Congratz bro. Now do a FOTA as we're having a DXKK1 firmware already :-) But i think you will only get this limitation in the S Pen test. In S Memo and Photo Editor that i try to test this situation, there is actually some frame surrounding the area that you can draw. So you actually cannot reach the edges and notice this "defect" during normal usage in applications. This post has been edited by Cynox: Nov 14 2011, 09:46 AM |

I know it's stupid, but how do we answer incoming call? I press on the green accept icon, but can't, do we need to slide as like lock screen?

It is quite embarassing too when i tested the demo unit at the roadshow - i dunno how to unlock the lockscreen and the promoter helped me. |

If you notice whenever you draw a line you will notice it is always few mm off from the tip and this is very normal. the S Pen is nothing better than my last HTC FLyer (even at some point i think flyer's pen was better)explanation is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/in.../t-1332439.html i bought this hoping that i can write just like writing on a note pad. but it fails me.. but having said that, other features are very impressive. display is better than S2, camera is slightly better (IMO), functionality is improved, and lots of pros. only THE S-PEN.. i really hope firmware update will solves this. I won't go claim warranty for my perfect unit just simply of these minor "defects".explanation is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/in.../t-1332439.html upgrading to KK1 really improved the accuracy - reduce distance between the tip of S Pen and the exact point on the screen from about 2mm to 1mm. Good enough for me. Still need to get use to writing on the glass - it is too slippery - hopefully later add a SP will have some drag. |
