I noticed that my SGN is not accurate on the S pen drawing at the right border of the phone. Only happen at the right end area. should i go and have a replacement? Or everyone having this problem and might eventually solve in later firmware update. SGN owners, please try and let me know ya. Appreciate it:-)

TS, please update this useful info on page 1

OR just use the free app BatteryCalibration which in principle does the same thing - removing the battery stats file. Charge the phone to full, execute the app - select " click battery calibration". Unplug phone
Phone need to be rooted to use this app

for those who doubt, Papago X5 can run : attached screen shots - only issue is the menu hanging in middle

[attachmentid=2532416][attachmentid=2532417]

This is the detailed procedure:

1. Download spareparts from market. Launch it - scroll down and untick "Compatibilty Mode". Soft reset phone

2. Select the largest folder, Amend/rename  in mnt/ sdcard : Navisea/Organic to 800X1280.  For the subfolders CHT, EN, IND, MY - amend/rename the same folder to 800X1280

Thanks a million!!! Finally it works.

I would say that Iphone hv the best design, apps store n marketing.
But Iphone design is so slow...as though they hv the technology but pacing their run inorder to maximise profit.

But the rest of the competition,Android manufacturers are closing in very fast with breakthrough design, leaner OS etc.
Apple better buck up or they will be out of the game.

All in all,as per today..i wish for an android hardware that can use the apps store.
To me Apps store is still slighty better!! nod.gif

Just back from Pavillion. Samsung promoter confirmed that my S Pen/phone is unaccurate. But they advice me to go to service centre first as they might help with the adjustment/calibration which i agreed as my phone dont have any other problem.
If this monday still the S Pen/phone cant be adjusted then i will claim 1 to 1 exchange.
- to those who want to know whether their S Pen and the phone adjust/ calibration is correct.
1) Go to S Memo
2) Open a page that have small/tiny square.
3) Point you S Pen on one of the small square and try to mark that square.
4) If you miss that mark (intended square) then most probably you need to go to service centre for calibration.
Try to do this test within this 7 days as you still have a chance to make a 1 to 1 phone exchange.
~~happy testing and good luck guys~~

Another way to tesr:

Go to LCD test from dialer *#0*#

Select s pen test

There are some grids with small boxes to test on.

Try to get a pin point accuracy on a flat surface.

If not accurate, just go for 1 to 1 exchange from sme. My previous unit they tried very hard to calibrate, no succes.

Hmmm..so far i keep hearing about the lag issue while browsing.Somebody should piled up things that we should do when we got out phone since i heard problems like when u write with the pen,the writing appeared away from the point u touch with the pen, then battery problems and dead pixels.Papago X5 also not really working properly unless u apply the fix that Uncle Benny taught us.
*
I have no lag issue in browsing as I do not use the stock browser. I use mainly Xscope which is the smoothest and fastest browser I have tested. My other favorite is Dolphin HD with its gestures features. Stock browser since my usage of the first Android till now never appeals to me as mostly I find it not as smooth as XScope and Dolphin HD
Even on my HTC's androids i find the stock browser still unable to match these 3rd party ones

I went to samsung service centre, they tested and say the sound is abnormal and agree to change the charger and the usb cable by next week.
Galaxy tab 10.1 output is 5v and 2 ampree.
Play safe i will use iphone charger first.
Check battery status already 72% after 3 hours. Not satisfy with it. Only on 3 g and always in standby mode.

Where you bought your note?
I just replaced mine at SEP lowyat smile.gif
I guess the sound is normal.
He test few of galaxy note charger all charger got this noise..
The different is just the loudness of the noise.
He replaced me a new one with the lowest noise.
I'm happy with it. biggrin.gif

My eyes must be ageing already - cannot see anything. If you have to look for it, than is not an issue at all
