hahha actually i like schnanuzer shape and look . well , is reli like a ah pek wan LOLLLL ... but i love it ... look very nice with the colour combination . if for condo , a schnanuzer learning stage will a bit difficult . yes is like to bark due to their characteristic which is alert when got lil bit of strange sounds come from the front door , is very good to guard the door as we called it guard dog la . well . but i can control lui lui not to bark , when if u train it if a ms keep in ms is not a problem too . but then my opinion is poodle and maltese is more suitable for a person who stay in condo , because poodle and maltese is more quiet type . but is ur decision to choose which kind of pet as u furkid , as long as u love it right

LOL. Last time when i bought Lucky, she costs me RM 500 only. But I spent almost RM 450 on his accessories - just those basic stuffs like playpen, etc. But i dunno how come the expenses incurred was so huge .

Digitral's talkin about his lui lui because I assume that's his only furkid and he wanna share the experiences with everyone else. I dun see any harm for him to talk about his furkid in any thread at all. As a matter of fact, basically no matter waht type of breed is ur doggie, it's jz da same way of managing and teaching them. HAHAHAHAHA ... NO MKA!! But he wasn't in a good condition lor. The seller cheated me. When I bought lucky, I only realised that he got a lot of kausat . Lucky is the first doggie that I buy on myself - so, i din noe how to inspect properly. I took him to Pets Family for basic grooming 3 times to kill the kausat. And he's healthy now .

Your puppy is humping... he is not hamsap lah.... he is doing it to show he wants to be dominant over you. He is still a puppy so you can teach him not to do it. If you let him do it more, it will become a habit.

What you do is once your dog hump your leg, quickly shout NO and hold your dog down and get your leg away. Some people use a method to make the dog scared of doing. If your dog doesn't react to the NO and pulling away. Get a tin can, place some pebbles inside. When your pup start to do, take the can and shake near his head very loudly. Dogs do not like sudden loud sounds. If you do this often, your pup will learn that humping would cause loud sound that he doesn't like.

my friend furkid do humping her leg . then funny thing is she just thorw fabric let it humping ...swt ..lol funny right ? but i will tell her this method , so tat she will let her dog not to humping people leg .

Actually I got a female lab that humps not us but my male dog.... terbalik wan hahaha... but she does it for dominance. We scare her with loud noises... so now when she tries to hump, just say a big NO and she won't do it at all. Good way lah.

The tin with pebbles is a training tip from some dog training books.

hahaha ya , i saw female dog humping female dog's leg oso =.= well , why opposite and terbalik edi wan ? this is what my frenz show her video to me tat her furkid humping the other dog leg hahaha ...but ur method i will tell anybody which got this problem . but somebody which is no intention to teach and let it become a habit as humping people leg and tec ..then it will not scare of '' No '' command right . hahaha but ur method is really a good idea because many people male dog do like to do this habit LOL!

standard as i know is flower around the mouth is white..eye has a mask;ears colored...the flower leads to the top part of the head must be moon round white..
neck around is white...half of the body is colored...and tip of the tail is white..

Actually, if follow AKC standards, any colour is suitable for shih tzu but for show quality, it must have a white collar(white neck).... also the white part on the head is called a blaze or star. This will make the shih tzu look more outstanding and attractive. When the mouth or muzzle is also white, it gives a cleaner look. Eyes should have dark eye rims like mascara and has to have a dark mask on the face. Ears, normally the tips of the ears are darker.

To choose a shih tzu is not really by colour unless you are looking for show markings. When choosing a shih tzu, it should have a roundish domed head, large eyes that do not buldge out, has a muzzle with a 1inch stop or less but not too flat till turned up like a pug. The teeth must be even and undershot. Posture is also important for if the posture is wrong, then the pup can have a weird walking gait.

Heheh... a little knowledge is good to know. Anyway, if you guys need cheap books, can always go to Pay Less book stores, even though 2nd hand, the books are really good and got quality. Got a section on pets and I did see a lot of books on dogs. Anyway, those website links that I posted are so far the best in standard information.
