My shih tzu also dun like to bath........and super dun like to comb hair!!!
During bath time, still manageble. After towel dry, and start using blower, she will start to be crazy. Although shivering in cold, but stil dun wanna stay still, hai............
Then when start combing her hair, become crazy again, struggle a lot, wanna bite the comb, how ah???

hi, my little shih tzu (almost 3 months old) always got blowing problem......how to say ah. Its not like sneezing, its like when ur nose's hole are blocked, u blow hard to unblock it. something like that lah........
She always do that wor since the day i bring her home. I thought she got a cold or wat, but she looks healthy, playful, eating and pooing normal. But i just wonder y....

recently i discover that my girl got some skin problem, but not much.
I also dunno how to describe, its like a small pimple, but already dried up, just one under her armpit, and one at her tummy......is it mites?? or just normal pimple.
Previosly there is another one at the other side of the tummy, but that one dried up, and the scar peeled off liao. I din see her scratching the affected area, but just wanna know wats that, or need wat kind of treatment.
And i just trim her hair near her butt, coz every time she poo, got some poo stick on it, dirty.........so ok ah i just cut the hair around her poo hole??

wah teng teng, u feed royal canin for shih tzu ah, quite expensive the brand. Before I'm feeding my shih tzu Nutriedge, but i heard that they're not that good. Just bought NutraGold, and the ingredients looks better. Later will try on BlackWood after finishing this 3kg Pack.

I'm feeding my shih tzu nutragold microbites, which looks like this

Chicken(17%), turkey(17%), Chicken meal, whole grain brown rice,whole grain white rice, chicken fat, oat flakes, potato........

Poultry Meal, Ground Rice, Ground Corn, Chicken Fat [Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols (Source of Vitamin E) and Citric Acid], Plain Dried Beet Pulp (Sugar Removed), Dried Potato Product, Menhaden Fish Meal, Brewers Dried Yeast, Natural Flavors, Dried Whole Eggs, Flax Meal........

According to the ingredients, i think nutragold is still better. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Someone recommend me that Innova Evo much more better. Ingredients :
Turkey, Chicken, Turkey Meal, Chicken Meal, Potatoes, Herring Meal, Chicken Fat Natural Flavors, Egg, Garlic, Apples, Carrots, Tomatoes, Cottage Cheese, Alfalfa Sprouts, Dried Chicory Root.........
but the price is much more expensive.........

i know california and innova and eagle pack better, but of course pricy lah.....
oh....nutragold is good, but i search internet, this brand not so famous.....even blackwood is more popular than nutragold.
I thought Blackwood is good, but from the ingredients, not so impressive, only poultry meal, not meat, and got corns also, but the price is cheaper than nutragold.
So blackwood ok ah?? mayb will try blackwood after she finish this nutragold and compare the results, coz nutragold not available in many pet shops.

oh nutriedge is fattening....luckily the 1kg pack almost finish, now gradually switching to Nutragold.
Meaning meat product and meal product should be the main ingredients of the kibbles. So blackwood also not so recommended, coz the main is meal, followed by rice and corn........ rite??

haha, ya, my shih tzu also always act like a carpet......a fluffy carpet. I'm sure someone will step on her if i dun tell them its a doggie!!!!

I think my shih tzu knows where to pee liao, just some times will miss, dunno y.......Sometimes she'll automatically go to the newspaper, sometimes she'll pee further a bit from the newspaper

And the poo poo thing, still dunno how to handle,coz she wont poo on the same newspaper where she pee, will find other place and poo (which is on the floor), hai.............

i din put poo on the newspaper, just carry her there after meal. Then she will pee there. Then i wipe off the pee, and wait fr her to poo, she will sniff sniff then poo at other place. Then i quickly say no and carry her to the newspaper loh......Until now she dunno where to poo correctly, but pee consider know liao. coz everytime i open cage, she will automatically run out and go to the newspaper to pee on (or around) that area. Stil trying to teach her where to poo, hai.........
I also got put a soft pillow for her to sleep in her crate, but she pee on the pillow lah....3 times liao....think she cant hold her bladder during the nite and during my working hours gua. Now i remove the pillow liao, no more.........
By the way, how to train her to sit?? My shih tzu understand NO, and SIT, but its not actually sitting, its more like lying down.

Sit is like on the left, but lying down is on the rite.......

that one not my pups lah...just an example to show between sit and lying down, haha...........
And although they're paper trained, after peeing, still got pee dripping down mah....u still can find some drops of pee on the floor loh.....and sometimes, no, they always steps on their pee one, hai...........how ah

My shih tzu knows knows the word SIT, but she is lying down instead of sit. Mayb my training is wrong from the earlier on. Whenever i say SIT, she will ly down...........

got question. u let her pee and poo on the newspaper rite?? pee and poo on the same newspaper or different one??
If diff paper, both papers are placed near or further away??

My shih tzu knows where to pee, which is on the newspaper, but sometimes will mis lah, bt still at that area.....the problem is, after she pee, she might step on it and dirty the floor. ALthough she din step on it, just after she pee and leave, the pee is still dripping from her "pee hole", so still dirty the floor......
