Hi peeps,
I've been keeping Pretty's mouth in check recently. Been using clean wet cloth to roughly scrub her mouth abit, and once a day I give her mcm Chewy treat sticks to chew on after her meals.

However, recently her breath is getting more and more...noticeable. Is there any practice that I can adopt to keep her breath in check? thanks in advance..

i'm using orijen and innova evo now.. so far so good.. but orijen, the poo not so smelly le..

purina alpo? that is bad food after all.
is better to change to blackwood or more better food. cuz shih tzu fur need more care right.

my shih tzu pee and poo also very very smelly and have skin problem...
the previous owner feed him blackwood. now i changing him to lamb and rice for eagle packs holistics ...

i feed my silky terrier royal chain for indoor dog... his poo and pee not smelly... but very pricey.... RM 47 for 1.5kg

IF not mistaken, the royal canin for shih tzu one much more expensive rite?? i nver tried that b4, but is it really good?? Some say royal canin is a bit oily, and once the dog taste it, u can hardly change the food to other brand

ya..i hate it.

Just that i cant imagine how disgusting is it.....cant really imagine the scene, the stain on the floor, but anyway, its past tense now.........

i discover that shih tzu hor, very kepoh one, although its time to pee and poo (i know she wans to), but still wanna tahan when released from cage. Must run here, run there, wans to play first, then only go pee n poo. If got strangers here, then wala..........pee poo on the floor for over-excited......
i dun mind she being excited, run here and there, but at least dun simply pee on the floor lah.....smtimes really makes me geram, wanna give to other ppl and keep my maltese (which I'm having one now and going to new home soon). But when later she knows she did something wrong, she'll like very kelian, go hide in the carrier box or under my bed. Then later will come near my leg, ly there wans me to rub her tummy, and my heart bcom soft again......go sayang her back........
HOw to stop the pee thing..........

FIFI also, when visit the vet also pee........But she dunno later kena poked by needle, haha........but FIFI is tough, did not cry, so later the vet give her biscuits for treats...... and end up last visit, i bought one bucket of the biscuts also....

yesterday i found my toro body gt ''kutu''

then i wan cabut from his body,bt difficult

after tat toro body hv a red dot,

d kutu look like spider,bt onli six leg,red color...

tis type of disease seriously not?bt i onli found 1 o,will more and more by d folllowing day o not?

This is a bug, not disease......
When u see it, pick it, then kill it. Mayb u have to buy those medicated shampoo and bath toro. Whether is there still other kutu, hard to say.........U can go buy frontline just in case, see got kutu, spray!!!

Dear Shih Tzu lovers..

It is saddening for me that I have a slight twist in my job opportunity that I have to shift to an apt at Cheras area at September, coupled to my parents insisting that I move with my brother..keeping Pretty is not possible anymore. It's really a screwed up twist, and that I have to get someone who is more suited to take care of her..

If there's anyone who is interested to me her stepmom/stepdad, do drop me a message..thank you.

sad to hear that..........but I'm too staying in an aprtment, jsut curi curi keep a dog also. as long as she dun make noise too much, ok lah.........

ahseng , no worries u just need to pick the kutu and imediately flush it to the WC . or KILL it. one more thing , u have to mention those place where ur furkid usually sleep , and those kutus will hide at a dark place , once u see it , kill it and flush it away . no worries as long as u have pick those kutus , the part which is the kutu bite ur furkid place will recover.or too serious , then have to see vet edi, cuz i saw my friend got a dog ( mongrel ) let kutu bite till all botak . ( too serious edi )

heheh, so far..pretty hasn't barked once when I'm around, even when other dogs barked at her..and she is just so disciplined when it comes to poop/pee...never once at the housing compound.

but she did bark a couple of times...when I went out for food and her evening walk is about due..

so sad to heard that.
