Hi all,
I would like to know if anyone's interested to explore making anti-flea pillows and to gather the recipes with me. Below links to the details: http://fiascofarm.com/herbs/health.htm#fleapillows I believe it is a very good addition to our furkid's sleeping spot/sleep cage since it is not surprising that somehow or the other our furkids might encounter places with fleas, (espcially community parks Thanks for reading.. QUOTE(junnie87 @ May 23 2007, 03:44 PM) Heheh, thanks! Everyone's Shih Tzu is so beautiful.. |

QUOTE(ahseng84 @ May 28 2007, 10:16 AM) yaya, Different people have different opinions as to how to train their dog. For me, I'm more on the Discpline-based thinking side.i post at garage sales there,bt d last i bought at malacca, more easier i agree,he very playful + naughty, yesterday play wf him till 2am,2day 7am he bark me wake up2 play wf him tis is more of his picture ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i gt 1 question o,wan ask all of ur opinion, normally i will play wf him at 10pm ~ 12am,then i gif him go2 bed in cage,i go2 slip,he slip same bedroom wf me 1, bt he oweys bark me,then i let him go out play itself,i continue my dream,bt he still bark me,is it he wan i play wf him? normally ur puppy is let him/her slip wf u o inside d cage? y he oweys bark me?i scare will complain by neighbour, coz almost 2am Alot of ladies would disagree with the way I do, but usually I'd use the five finger treatment, a few smacks at the hind leg and it will get the message. Usually I'll stare at it when it barks from the cage, and as soon as it barks looking at me I'll carry it out from the cage and smack its hind while staring at it furiously. Do it like 2-3 times and it will remember that during sleeping time it is not supposed to make any noise. |

Pretty developed another killer skill again...
At night when I tell her to go inside the cage (she's trained to understand the command), recently she looks at the cage, then me, at the cage again, Then she jumped up and hugged me. Smart dog. |

The previous owner of Pretty left me with a whole pack of Purina Alpo, the generic ones that you find in supermarkets...so is it as good as been chucked out? I'm thinking of opening the pack of Blackwood straight coz I just can't stand seeing her so skinny...

Hi peeps,
I've been keeping Pretty's mouth in check recently. Been using clean wet cloth to roughly scrub her mouth abit, and once a day I give her mcm Chewy treat sticks to chew on after her meals. However, recently her breath is getting more and more...noticeable. Is there any practice that I can adopt to keep her breath in check? thanks in advance.. |

Dear Shih Tzu lovers..
It is saddening for me that I have a slight twist in my job opportunity that I have to shift to an apt at Cheras area at September, coupled to my parents insisting that I move with my brother..keeping Pretty is not possible anymore. It's really a screwed up twist, and that I have to get someone who is more suited to take care of her.. If there's anyone who is interested to me her stepmom/stepdad, do drop me a message..thank you. |

heheh, so far..pretty hasn't barked once when I'm around, even when other dogs barked at her..and she is just so disciplined when it comes to poop/pee...never once at the housing compound.
but she did bark a couple of times...when I went out for food and her evening walk is about due.. |

QUOTE(^MochI^ @ Jun 20 2007, 11:10 PM) DK82 - ur the one passing pretty to digitral arh. Yesh, to be precise, I'm the 2nd owner, not the first one..Niel- 1 mean take two bowl??? u mean one dog can eat 2 bowl in a meal?? Initially I wanted to take care of her and all till September (when I have to shift to condo due to sudden change of work), while putting up an ad for her free adoption + interview for her new home, but Digitral was speedy in taking over the care of Pretty..she was really in a bad shape when I just got her from the prev owner.. QUOTE(Syrian @ Jun 20 2007, 11:32 PM) DK82 .. urm .. r u sure Pretty was in bad shape when u got her from the first owner?? I happened to go to Ikano and I went to view the doggie. She was fine and neat and tidy. That guy's gf groomed her and she looked very neat and tidy and clean too. The environment where Pretty lives is good too. But yupe .. they fed her with alpo, which I htink isn't that good. And Pretty showed me some tricks - sit, come, roll over, stay, etc (forgotten). That guy wasn't the original owner of Pretty. He got pretty from his friend and he kept pretty for few years. Then he needs to work outstation and he posted for adoption hoping to get good owner for Pretty. But now that Pretty is in the hand of Digitral, it's good. He's a good dog owner. With a respect to the previous owner, I think I'll leave out the details when I first got her. But I'd say, it is obvious that You haven't 1) look under her fur 2) felt her rib cage yet... |
