How long do you rest after a workout?
I hear some people say workout on alternate days, and the days in between are rest days. But working out seems like some kinda addiction now and if I don't sweat I feel weird.

Been wondering the same thing too, i been working out at my home with a really light dumbbell and i only get the chance to the gym every friday and saturday. After a workout session at the gym the next morning all my muscles are sore like shit @@ i never lift those weights that i can't do more than 5 reps thou.

QUOTE(decypher @ Nov 8 2011, 11:42 PM) How long do you rest after a workout? It really depends. The best thing is to follow what your body says. For instance, you will be able to train 7 days a week for a full month but you might not be able to do the same in the following month. Btw, what's the point of opening up a new thread ? You could have just posted it in the bodybuilding thread right ?I hear some people say workout on alternate days, and the days in between are rest days. But working out seems like some kinda addiction now and if I don't sweat I feel weird. |

QUOTE(VincentChen @ Dec 21 2011, 08:34 PM) I think this is a really ridiculous statement. You grow when you rest. And EVEN if you're not working out the same bodypart the next day, you're not letting systemic and CNS recovery take place. |

Lyn got no like button to like this statementmy idea of rest days is 0-30g carbs n no workouy but if really ate like shit on rest days, do steady state kadio from running to rowing depending on what bodypart i worked he day before the rest day.
