guys... need some help.. am currently residing in Sri Alpinia apartments in puchong.. installing unifi this Wednesday..

Just checked with the guards and they dont seem to know where the server /mdf box is.. how do I go about explaining this to the maintenance office in the morning when it opens??

Any ideas??

I think mostly guard won't know it.
Just to maintenance office & ask them the MDF Room, don't know ?
Say "Bilik Telefon Telefon, tahu ?"
Normally they know as TM also sometimes go maintaining things for apartment. Unless u ask the cleaning lady in the office.

Added on November 8, 2011, 6:11 pmFilesonic is freaking slow... since last week, perhaps about 5 kbps only! Anyone experiencing this?

By the way, is it good to use JDownloader, will be it quicker speed wise... not the ease of download?

Just wondering about the installation procedure.

I set up my appointment for vip5 installation next month. The thing is, my desktop cannot connect to Internet by using wire cause lightning fried the ethernet adapter inside my pc.

So I'm using wifi usb adapter(Aztech) to use Internet without using wired cable.

Will this affect the Unifi installation? Do I need to get a laptop that can be wired in just for the sake of installation?

Sometimes when I used streamyx and I called 100, when I said that I used wifi instead of wired, they start blaming me for my super slow speed for not using cable =.=

no.... impossible. unless the modem has a unifi username/password for a 10mb accoun.... which means either someone paying for it or a tm guy is organizing all this..

anyway even IF its true amd tm guy doing this... i would stay away since its illegal

Was told my Jalan was not covered by Unifi although there's like 3 Unifi greenbox at my street (T3T).

Oh well i shall wait until Jan then. Till then i'll keep reading the posts here, seems very helpful. Or i might get BB 4mbps Deal as i heard no drilling or long installation required blink.gif
