QUOTE(kingvxx @ Nov 8 2011, 07:04 PM) Just wondering about the installation procedure. can use wife. unifi modem got wireless .. usualy the technician will bring their lappy to try the internetI set up my appointment for vip5 installation next month. The thing is, my desktop cannot connect to Internet by using wire cause lightning fried the ethernet adapter inside my pc. So I'm using wifi usb adapter(Aztech) to use Internet without using wired cable. Will this affect the Unifi installation? Do I need to get a laptop that can be wired in just for the sake of installation? Sometimes when I used streamyx and I called 100, when I said that I used wifi instead of wired, they start blaming me for my super slow speed for not using cable =.= Added on November 8, 2011, 7:26 pm QUOTE(izzat80 @ Nov 8 2011, 07:22 PM) no.... impossible. unless the modem has a unifi username/password for a 10mb accoun.... which means either someone paying for it or a tm guy is organizing all this.. well , when people dont know , they will bought as the tech suggest .. anyway even IF its true amd tm guy doing this... i would stay away since its illegal btw , do pm me any recomended modem/router that written at ur sig .. However no drilling or nothing required right? Just an upgrade. yeah.. just upgrade from the box n system .. no need drilling for streamyxI heard that the promotion of free installation for UNIFI will not be over so soon as now the demand is still high. |

QUOTE(victor87 @ Nov 9 2011, 07:52 PM) I just received my first bill. Don't worry, they will void the one month subscription fee. if register direct to TM , we need to pay 2month payment? It is normal to pay 2 months upfront on the first bill if u apply other than online. I am very happy with my VIP20. |

QUOTE(victor87 @ Nov 9 2011, 09:29 PM) Ya. Regardless how u apply also need to pay 2 months upfront on the first bill. using tm modem or othersApply online get free 1 month subscription. I don't download from Filesonic. I am a torrent dude.. I always hit full speed (around 2.1~2.3mb/sec) if there's plenty of seeder. So far a month of usage, they never fail me man. Tried downloading from FileSonic as requested, average speed 320~346kb/s. Unless someone don't mind lending me their premium acc |
