How can they leave the thing drop cable exposed like that?

Better pray there's no thunder storm like what like in SJ recently. It's susceptible to strong wind and might get fractured if not careful.

Did they charge you any extra?

Anyone experienced slow Unifi?

I'm on the 20mbit subscription plan, and only getting 4.6mbit

http://www.speedtest.net/result/1653805401.png

Not sure if I'm throttled, or there is some ISP issue.

Happened to me before. I'm on VIP20 but the speed never gets above 5Mbps. Reported the problem and it took them 3 weeks to solve it. Seems my account settings were corrupted and got wrongly capped at 5Mbps. In the end they restored my account and everything is ok.

i check on LAN Setting, the IP is set 127.0.0.1 , port 9666
i unchecked, and put auto detect mode, then only can connect
why is it, and is my "configuration" alright?

How can that entry suddenly change?

You got disable remote management earlier a not? Better do it if not you're opening a serious backdoor for hackers to remote control your home gateway router(DLink unit).

I'm not sure what you're referring to LAN IP ranges, your router's LAN address or port forwarding. Better ask the Unifi sifus here with hardware expertise.

A screenshot with your IPs erased(white out) with paint can help a lot.

That looks like you previously installed some VPN or something...
You got install any VPN before this such as your company's VPN?

Yes it should not be ticked.

That one is not your web configuration but your browser's configuration.

how is the tm wifi usb adapter reception like, is it worth getting it or better buy from others?
*
Don't get it. It's a CON. RM 100 for a simple adapter... You can get outside for half the price or a little more than half.

I'm telling you if you get that blek router you'll regret and can never go back. It's a rebadged of some unknown company brand probably from China and they stamp a TM R&D logo on it. tongue.gif

Looks like this:
