QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Nov 25 2011, 11:41 AM) erm i guess so.. only way is to install it into external sd card. trust me if ur a heavy gamer, get a 16GB sd card. modern combat 3 will come out soon, u can guess how much MB will tat be but according to below, we can't install it to external sd?QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Nov 24 2011, 03:28 PM) i'll give a quick explanation on the 1gb limitation - unlike HTC phones, SGW can only rely on the 1GB for storing large games such as gameloft's games and Electronic Arts' games onto the internal storage even though you buy an external microsd card. For HTC phones, you can fully utilize the external SD card for this. So the difference its in the filesystem - the way that samsung partitioned it. That's why. But if you root you could map it to your external SD card allowing you to make full use of it. In terms of why the galaxy W is slower than iphone 4 in games is because of the GPU - you cannot compare CPU in pure numbers, there's a GPU element there. You're like trying to compare the gaming performance of a PC's quad core versus a dual core when the dual core one could win purely on a gaming standpoint if it had a better GPU than the quad-core machine. Its as simple as that. One other thing - iOS is a lot more smoother than Android - this is a no brainer, at least in its current form Android 2.x is slower than iOS but i think Android 4.0 / Ice Cream Sandwich with its handware acceleration enabled by default should either knock the iOS performance out of the ballpark or at least be on par with it. The 1.4 Ghz in the Galaxy W is already very snappy and it can only slowdown if you add in more widgets and stuff to your homescreen - which you cant do in iOS that's why its so bloody snappy there in iOS land Added on November 25, 2011, 12:18 pm QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Nov 25 2011, 11:41 AM) waiting for official 1 to arrive, dare not flash to unofficial 1 This post has been edited by danielcmugen: Nov 25 2011, 12:18 PM |

It's pricey at RM99, but makes the phone look classy and expensive ha ha! The casing is made for Galaxy W, by Sun-U.Btw, it's been 5 hours and the battery only dropped 6%. Not to mention I forgot to turn wifi off! :-D |

QUOTE(Kenzany @ Nov 25 2011, 12:08 AM) yes.. imagine senheng technician and samsung technician.. which one you prefer? of course samsung right How do you know Sen Heng doesn't send the phone back to Samsung technician and bear the cost?QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Nov 25 2011, 12:09 AM) exactly! max is normally will use 2 years. that's why i said senheng is smart. they offer up to 3 years warranty. but not 2. if u take 1 year, will feel like not enough, but if 3 then like too much Would you prefer Sen Heng to offer 2 years warranty instead of 3 years for the same amount of money? |
