The only reason I'm going for u mobile is their cheap data plan. If just for call/sms I'd definitely stick with my current Maxis Youth Club Plan

cheapest maxis data plan is RM 18 for 100 MB as i know, i'm using it. pretty good but have to limit self from surfing too often or else pecah the limit easily

so what if u anti umobile? that dosent mean u dont like something then others shouldnt get it also just because u dont like it. umobile is cheap, can u get any data plan that is rm28/month? i dont think so....then again speed might not be as fast as others like digi, maxis etc...

but then what u pay is what u get...just like galaxy w...u cant expect it to be as good as s2...maybe u are rich so u can go for maxis(which imo is damn expensive) but not everyone is like you...heck even i m a student...i dont have much pocket money...so people like me...umobile data plan will be more affordable compare to others.

its true if contract actually u end up paying more for the phone...but then again...for those who are going to sign up for data plan anyways might as well just sign up for the contract...since u are going to get the data plan anyways might as well just pay monthly with data plan as you wont feel u are paying for the phone....

but i m not sure about umobile contracts tho...since its new...

how does data plan relate to subsidies?

anyway yes i agree that u end up paying more for the phone...as phone price decrease in time also but then u are still paying the same amount/rate till your contract ends...but then again some people prefer to pay monthly as they dont feel they are spending so much one time....

take for example car loan...you end up paying more for the car what...but why people still want car loan that paying straight for the car at one time?

I using maxis on my phone, while broadband using umobile.i can say the speed of umobile are good in kl that give average 2mb-5.5mb at my area gombak, while on the go around kl is 1mb+ which is better than maxis of their promise up to 7.2mb, i get merely 1-2mb, only at some spot it was fast.just umobile when no 3G line, u cant surf at all.only call n sms available via celcom gsm line....
Recently umobile had sign with maxis to using their 3G network, hope this could bring more coverage.

It is depend on each ppl usage.rm28 for 1gb is a gd deal if u r using mostly whatsapp, viber, facebook that around ur fren oso using smartphone.could save alot than call n sms.

infernoaswen: u wan "they" avday check on u meh? if u straight away buy car with lot of amount like cash. "they" will tax u 9696. avday u will b very bz with them for aim ur $$ majority ppl go for loan not b'cos they r poor. i wanna change citizen concept of installment & credit card.

Riptide was a good game.but i still prefer nfs for racing.do not get duke nukem 3D, the game sux.wasted my 99cent usd.
using my sis newly buy galaxy w, soon switching back to my s+.from usage of 3days, i dun see much diff than s+, only battery life slighty abit diff.newly UI 4.0 are better than old 3.0, camera not a big deal for me as i seldom snap pic.just amoled look vivid color than lcd abit.screen size i prefer s+ for better gaming experience n web browsing. worth the money u bought for. A very good budget smart phone.
