so far so gud with this hp.
But yesterday and today suffer few problem T_T , the auto rotate malfunction. I saw the same problem happen to a forumer in this thread also. And the messaging apps ( system default 1 ) suddenly force close. Somemore I cant hear any sound from receiver when some1 called me. My phone only back to work after i restart it. No sure izit any apps cause the problem becos my hp work perfectly be4 install so many apps.

DUN ever install CAMERA FX if you dun wanna lost your default camera apps

Factory reset cant remove the root. In there forum there is way to unroot it. But i haven try yet lar.. Haha..

By the way, the swype texting method is quite amazing! And the speech to text is very accurate as well..
Just wish that you didnt have to be connected to the net/wifi in order to send a text via speech. The weird thing is, u need that when you are driving and tht is when you wont be connected to a wifi network.

Already asked samsung if it can be done while not connected to the internet via an app or sumthing. He said 'no'..

hi guys,bought the W last 2 weeks ago for rm 990. phone + original headset + 16gb card.including a sp.when i bought this phone i was told that the battery life will be kinda weak.so after 2 weeks of using the w,i would like to list out some problems.

1) batter life problem. fully charge ,no play games,standy mode,few calls only a day battery barely last upto 8 hours.
2) even on standy mode the whole phone feels like a volcano.no apps was running.
3) sms need to send 2 times in order to be sent out. ( i see a few ppl have this problem )
4) cant recieve incoming calls sometimes.ppl call me say the phone after ring few times thn after tht no sound liaw.check my phone everything ok.

so am going to lowyat to ask the sales person,maybe my battery got problem.

I think W issues are cause by apps. These apps are loaded with bugs. Andriod phones are prone to issues. Jus my opinion.

quite sure its background apps or batt prob. when I got galaxy w I was quite sure it could last at least 5 days if I use it minimally.

I still prefer 2-finger tapping

While driving you can use data network, no? Translation requires server processing. It's the same for iOS Siri, Google Translate, etc.

just came back from Digital Mall..spent RM45 for crystal SP and Transcend 4GB Class 4..now only wait for casing that can make me fall in love with..haha..

new firmware kj5 is available now.. just made the update.. it takes only 3min to update via wifi.. hope it could solve the auto rotate malfunction and messaging force close problem :-)

have u check ur sync setting already? What is the interval u set it to sync. every minutes, few hours?
I have the same problem on the first day dues to sync setting via 3g/wifi.

I dont have SMS or connection fail issue (not using Digi), but some time a call got thru, but I can't hear or talk to another party.

Only happen 2 times since I got the phone. It will be OK after you reboot the phone.

Anyone else has this problem?

hey bro, i tink there is something wrong wif ur phone.. i hv none of the problem u stated.. and my battery life is decent.. try to ask for assistance from samsung..
