Hello everybody! 1st of all, I am a newbie here ya! But, I am very interested in this thread talking bout the unlimited data plan from maxis.

Well, I donnoe I am lucky or wat, currently i am using maxis corporate individual plan with no monthly commitment, and then, after checking wit the maxis CS, i am qualified in getting the legendary unlimited mobile internet rm 99. So, i did read some of the comments here, and some1 claimed that maxis told him this rm 99 unlimited plan come wit 6GB quota, this is the same as the maxis CS told me.

Well, is it this 6GB is just "say" only? Because i am going to add on this plan since it is a super best deal with RM 99, i get unlimited mobile internet!

Hi Fruitie, you means that the new subscriber to this rm 99 unlimited data plan is now limited to 6GB only ya...?

My corporate individual account started from 2010 May till now, really no regret sign up tis account, limited promotion! Well, it is considered as "old customer" huh...? This coming May then is 2 yrs ald.

2009... sad... so, meaning no unlimited quota ald la....

but true, no harm to try get it also...

Wow, a good news for me! So, he/she is getting the unlimited rm 99 mobile internet add on to the phone plan right?

p/s: And wow, the speed test is marvellous, the ping super low! kinda possible oh? I never get this ping...

Haha, good good good! Actually i wanna get this plan is because my current 3GB maxis WBB not enough for me la... coz sometimes stream video also, if 3GB, very fast habis lo...


I am going to add on this plan soon, and use the sim card into my broadband tongle, anyway, i don use my sim card for calling also, ald put into my desk for few months never use, so, now use for mobile internet is a good idea...

Ya, my line still active, no worry, just every month the bill come, is RM 0.00... no need pay any single cent...

Hi MYstombox, ya, i am sure the registered company is still active, and it wont become in-active i think. actually it is not a company, it is a chinese association, and this association is large and powerful i think?! that is y they manage to get a no-monthly-commitment postpaid from maxis. just pay the amount that u use, wit the call rate of postpaid line.

i call to 123, they say can add on to me if i agree, coz it is add-value service, not opening a new line oh...

haha, add on is not a problem, just the case, i want it unlimited lo... if not unlimited, add on ald also no point... that is y this thread exist right, all of u here are UNLIMITED! Bravo!!!

after this month maxis wbb recycle bill end soon, i will call for ad on the rm 99 unlimited mobile internet plan. Wish that i get unlimited too, and i will share wit all here the result.

Yesterday my DL goes up to 3.xxmbps and UL goes to 1.xxmbps, is it consider good for this plan?

the ping is terrible, sometimes up to 1xxmx till 2xxms....

Just go to speedtest.net lo. Wrong? It will automatic choose the best lowest ping right?

Modem, I donnoe the model now, coz i at office, is the 1 when sign up with maxis wbb they gv it. But i ald terminate the package, coz just sign up this unlimited plan, but i am still using the same broadband that maxis gv la.

This is the best result i got yesterday night, after that, hardly to get this result anymore. I am so envy u all hv very high dl speed but mine just so so only... even using same plan...

Well, i check it when i am home later. So, asking bout the my setting, is it anything wrong? the APN, User ID, password....
