now the new MDMA cannot connect the usual way

go to "open network and sharing center" >"change adaptor settings"> look for "Wireless Broadband Connection" ~ "LAN or High Speed Internet" > right click to connect,

once you are connected, you can see the new MDMA button also show "connected" take note of your Tower Code and note them down which is UMTS900 or UMTS2100

fruitie,

u can try to use window 7 mobile broadband to connect your E1762 via direct plug in,

below as some method are using NDIS instead of using MDMA beta 10 RAS,... that works, after window 7 auto connect, then u can open the MDMA beta 10 to choose which band tower to get better speed at night

download E1762 driver from HERE

first, remove your maxis/mobile partner dashboard/dialer u install,

replug in your E1762, and wait for cwin 7 to recognise your E1762 first ,

then launch the driver Setup in E1762 driver u download,.. ( unzip the rar file of E1762 driver u download,. and go to huawei driver then driver setup,. , double click and launch the installer,.. )

this will make your pc recognize your E1762 without instal those maxis or mobile partner dashboard, and direct using the window mobile broadband dialer and st APN and just connect straight,.. )

aboev method get me the highest speed ever and most consistent and also window will use NDIS ethernet emulation to dial your E1762 under Local Area Connection,..

when i use my E1762 with my router, speed very very poor, UL speed decrease ,.. only get 1.2Mbps max and DL speed only 4~4.8Mbps,..Ping is between 70~95ms,..

but when i use method above, i get 6~6.8Mbps DL and UL get 2~3.6Mbps,.. PING is good around 45~65ms,.

u see the Band config, click it and select which band u want to use, after u click ok you will see the Cell ID ( tower code ) change ,.. signal will be different,.

i am still using UMTS 900Mhz 3G band, signal still going strong and never dc at all for last 12 hour plus

[attachmentid=2592154]

If anyone of you always stuck at 3G 384Kbps, then u need to change to 900Mhz 3G band to use,.. as 3G ( 384Kbps ) is 2100Mhz 3G band too,.. so sometimes when u select 2100Mhz u still end up get 3G tower instead of HSPA tower,..

well, when i select UMTS 2100Mhz and get a HSPA signal,. DL speed is much higher but UL speed is low,.

user posted image
on 2100Mhz DL speed is good, but UL is low and cause bad ping

after discover this MDMA beta 10, my E1762 can stay on the 3G band i prefer and even on router speed is very good, if i need to upload something, i will select 900Mhz, if i want to DL, i select 2100Mhz,.. oh well sweat.gif

LOL, am sure u connected to 2100Mhz band HSPA tower,. somehow that tower is down,.. and guess after u report maxis is fixing it and now back to normal,.

congrats fruitie, brows.gif miss your 6Mbps very much le brows.gif brows.gif

For me, the best is using nokia x3-02 ( because it can connect to 2100Mhz HSPA tower instead of stuck at 2100MHZ 3G tower like my E1762 )

Next thing that they will do is on the FB vids and upload issues, the technical guy who called me said they are well-aware and trying their level best to get these issues solved.
