Reflashed to xxjvt with csc home whatever.
Thought would fix the wifi drop issue but still remained the same. It will drop wifi and connect to 3G and then reconnect to wifi. Googled it and seems that there are a lot of people suffering the same.

The CSC file doesn't have anything to do with wifi connection lol.

Hi alucard, why dont you try to turn off your 3G connection and just use wifi for internet access. It might those background running apps that triggers the 3G connection. I do see alot of apps that have this option whether to have 3G or Wifi only for update or data push. Hope it helps.

QUOTE(ken2291 @ Nov 17 2011, 10:24 PM) Pikachu, playing Asphalt 6 here. Found out at the end it'll get REAL LAGGY. then hang, force close, everything's like not enuf ram. not sure if this is Gingerbread's problem or Thunderbolt Yup, should be the CFS issue. I'll release another version that has a less aggressive CFS in a few hours. Sorry about that. QUOTE(alucard_my @ Nov 17 2011, 10:26 PM) Reflashed to xxjvt with csc home whatever. Just do either of this: - Remove address reservation setting AND/OR - Don't see lease time to forever AND/OR - Set a static IP

Haha..just trying whatever I can to solve the wifi thingy.
Router has always been on forever. On static IP now and it seems that even on static IP i get disconection. While the wifi icon would still be there, there would be no access to the internet. Sad..

Hmm, yes, I know router has been that way. It's a bug that Samsung "included" in the latest ROM. You can work around it with setting the lease time to something other than forever, like 24 hours.

No worries, good thing it can be solved. I thought it's GB's problem btw, any reason why people are not using XFJVA? Saw some forumers saying it's more fluid than XXJVT. How's Talon on ur side? still nid cache dropping? QUOTE(alucard_my @ Nov 17 2011, 10:57 PM) Haha..just trying whatever I can to solve the wifi thingy. Router has always been on forever. Don't need to do anything from there.
