Did you remove ThunderBolt! and see if it works?

successfully flashed ICS. very nice ! but dunno why i cant download any apps from market. force closes... any one know the fix?

hopefully they're able to port a real stable "working-as-should" ICS. From what I see.. some functions though successfully ported, has some drawbacks. Take the hardware acceleration for example.

Hi guys,

I'm trying to install ICS based on the instruction given in xda forum (flash the JVT 1st and root it + CWM, then update it with ICS). However, I'm not any to get any signal from mobile network. My SIM card is unlocked, but the Lock SIM Card feature in ICS is ticked, not really sure how to disable it. Is anyone has any idea how to resolve this issue? Thanks

Did you follow the instructions correctly and flashed the 3G fix?

Before flashing the ICS rom, did you untick the simcard pin lock?

My beloved SGS has gone bonkers... Im on stock rom 2.3.4 JVR suddenly got super lag spikes... even when im not using it, its slightly warm to the touch.

no wonder Im getting a lot of miss call notifications! time to flash.. is it common to flash the ROM every 2 months.. LOL! tiring leh...

I thought it only backups the 2.5mb of the apk and its data? U have the 200mb in your sdcard right, try backing up then delete the sd data

check dy... nothing.. besides the standard stuff.. whatsapp, maps, tweetdeck, 3g watchdog... maybe cos it over heated once I forgot to close the 'words with friends' app. left it running for an hour while charging the phone... it hit 61 degree Celsius... according to the battery monitor widget.. o.O'

now my phone has the lagfix enable..if now i flash to the other stock rom, is the lagfix still enable?

Don't think it's related to Thunderbolt! After deleting the scripts from init.d folder and flashing the restore pack, the game still bounces back to homescreen after the intro movie, worse is homescreen and launcher gets reloaded

lol.. if u leave a game running with the phone charging, for sure it'll get hot. but 61 degree celsius is a bit high
maybe 3G watchdog is the culprit, not sure coz I din use it.. Heard it last time that it'll drain battery

Added on November 26, 2011, 10:28 ameverything will get to stock once u use Odin to flash. meaning, lagfix disabled, every other tweaks u made will be gone

kinda bored to flash my sgs . kinda happy with teh sgs2 . but wanna try the ics . is the ics fully functional ?

Functional but bluetooth and camera will not work for now.
