QUOTE(ic3joker @ Nov 7 2011, 03:57 PM) bro, no more battery drain issue. but it drain a lil more compare to stock. huh really? it still drains for me even after calibrating.isnt that we already have galnet port version? for official, i dont think we will get it. but hope la. yalo. the thread is still running fast. LOL. if cant afford it change to line or any other apps lo.so many free apps out there. but cm7.1 stable dunno why will cause FC problem after few weeks of usage , tried redownload-reflash-rewipe still same problem. its like the whole rom break down. after that worse case scenario will cause bootloop without reason. only installed basic apps .. dunno wats wrong with my phone. now back to stock XXJVT, hope no problem. |

QUOTE(ic3joker @ Nov 7 2011, 04:24 PM) actually i never stay on cm7 stable rom or any nightly more than a week. will flash weekend or at least once a week. before that i did encounter some fc after using for a long time. just go into recovery wipe cache wipe dalvik cache and fix permission will fix. but i recommend those on cm7 try to update nightly at least once a week. to keep updating the rom. so far never have any big problem. that is why people say cm7 is for 'advance user'. have to find your own way to solve problem. haha. so how is the latest stock rom? yea i had FC and bootloop problem last week in school( had to bring phone coz of unsure transport ==) and luckily i received my mom's SMS before it just suddenly auto restart and bootloop. I tried to wipe cache, dalvik cache, fix permissions but still bootloop. finally had to wipe data and system. ifags in school laugh at me LOL.Added on November 7, 2011, 4:32 pm use appbrain. XXJVT very smooth with lagfix. but LMK sucks, had to use supercharger script for multitasking. tried ThunderBolt! and although its really smooth, the multitasking was very poor . to me multitasking is very important. |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 7 2011, 08:55 PM) Did you try the 50MB edition of ThunderBolt!? havent try, will try later. i use the MultiTasker settings and sometimes Balanced 2 option. in ThunderBolt!, i open 2 tabs in Opera, jump to IM app for chat, jump back to Opera, it will be closed. in Supercharger.. the app is still open and I can resume immediately. whereas in ThunderBolt.. i have to reopen the tabs.Which setting did you use in Supercharger for multitasking? 256HP? |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 7 2011, 10:26 PM) If you used those settings, having more than 24 or 48 hours of uptime without restarting will significantly lag your phone. ok. will try for a day or two. also, i just realized im using an old version of supercharger.. == maybe thats why you didnt get the settings. will use thunderbolt 50mb for 2 or 3 days and then try new supercharger and compare.Yes, just install it at CWM. |

QUOTE(ktathui @ Nov 26 2011, 05:27 AM) Hi guys, u need to disable the sim card lock on JVT before u flash ICS. download JVT modem and flash it using CWM on ICS to get signal. also flash the 3G fix for data .I'm trying to install ICS based on the instruction given in xda forum (flash the JVT 1st and root it + CWM, then update it with ICS). However, I'm not any to get any signal from mobile network. My SIM card is unlocked, but the Lock SIM Card feature in ICS is ticked, not really sure how to disable it. Is anyone has any idea how to resolve this issue? Thanks http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...68#post19563068 |

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Dec 2 2011, 05:49 PM) is just a app launcher with rows of icons. might as well get a nokia N9 . actually the most stable rom is always stock rom. i never use custom rom because of instability. just use stock rom + custom kernel. |

Word on the streeets of Korea today is that Samsung is taking another look at possibly getting an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to the original Galaxy S smartphone and 7-inch Galaxy Tab tablet, after previously saying it wasn't going to happen. Hey, that'd be great. Sure would make a lot of people happy. http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-repo...-and-galaxy-tab |
