RFS 1.3GHZ : 2000+

but when I want overlock it to 1.3GHZ after convert to ext4, the phone reboot... weird... not dare try for twice....

Probably your phone can't support 1.3Ghz, you should try 1.2Ghz instead.

FYI: Quadrant is useless. It's best to measure performance from gaming and/or smoothness of the phone.

And 1.3GHz might work now, but it can hang later onwards. Depends on the temperature of your phone. Best if you try to stress test your phone before setting it permanently, i.e. run Rock Player with RMVB using software decoding for 10mins.

Check my Android Optimization Tips for "undervolting".

Doesn't have anything to do with lagfix.

Run a stress test, to check if 1.3Ghz is stable or not as suggested by pikachu01. laugh.gif

I don't get it, UV means setting it to lower frequency, I understand that, but how to run a stress test?

UV means undervolting. When you undervolt and overclock, you need to stress test it. Don't save the 1.3GHz setting at boot first.

Load it up and stress test it a bit until you're satisfied that it's stable.

I've already explained how to stress test it. Load up Rock Player, play an RMVB using software decoding for 10mins.

Try his method. As for me, I run the stress test from SetCPU for around 10 minutes.

Does everyone use ext4 already? or most of you still stick to rfs? should anyone recommend me why should change to ext4? is the differences alot?
*
Pikachu n me use ext4 oways. it's recommended. Even SGSII uses ext4. no reason to cling on RFS anymore. With Thunderbolt! tweaks and remount scripts it's even better

ur reboot has nothing to do with filesystem. It's overclocking. Which means your phone can't tahan 1.3Ghz. Different phones have different capabilities, be it the same model.

For example, my SGS might be able to withstand 1.3Ghz overclock but not yours. Hence the reason of reboots. You have to stress test it to see which settings suits your phone personally. Try the method recommended by Pikachu
