I need some serious urgent advice. I recently rescued a kitten and have been hand raising since. I have visited 3 different vets and have been told that the kitty maybe suffering from hydrocephalus. But none of them are certain.

I have been reading up on this illness and have seen some possible symtoms. I would like to get a final opinion of a really good vet and decide on what the best treatment would be. I don't want to wait till it's too old as it will be harder to treat. BTW, its only a month old. It's ver under developed, small for its age and weights just 100g.

I' appreciate some suggestions for a damn good doctor in the area of KL or PJ.

My Sofie got diarrhea yesterday, so today I bring her to see vets again. Base on the symptom & the color of the feces, vets told me it's likely the food causing diarrhea. I did changed from tuna to mackerel to ocean fish flavor in last couple of weeks. Unfortunately the medicine for diarrhea is out. Probably lot of cats got diarrhea too lately. He gave three capsules for worms & said to me if still get diarrhea after a weak, he advice me to get the medicine from pharmacy. According to him, diarrhea medicine for children can be use for cats too.

BTW, I feed my cat with boiled minced beef today. She very like it. Will continue to feed her with the same meat for a couple of days.

(I did make sure to clean both bowls for food & drink with hot water everyday.)

Before you do that, please fast her for at least half a day to ensure that her stomach is empty.
By giving boiled chicken meat, it will absorb the bacteria from the intestine thus making your cats poo hard and not soft.
Another alternative is to get charcoal tablets from the pharmacy.
Divide the tablet into 1/2 and then feed it to your cat.
The charcoal will also help to absorb all the toxins inside your cats intestine and getting rid of all the bad bacteria.

my housemate found a stray cat, that just got into a fight with another cat. Now the cat is currently not moving at all, only the mouth a bit, but no voice. Seeing that it is sunday, almost all vet are closed. Called a vet just now, the doctor said it's normal coz the cat is stressed... is it really normal? When cat stressed, they just lie down, not moving at all even when give food/water?

God damn it and i was about to post the same question and ur here lol. Yeah it just lay there sideways and appears to be sleeping? Still breathing but will do a silent meow if I pet it. Can't stand/sit and doesnt appear to have any external wound. Could it be a hip dislocation?

Hi everyone, I have a new stray cat in my neighbourhood recently. but by the fluffy look of the cat, I think it was abandoned by some cat owner. Although I am raising rabbit as a hobby, I am liking this cat a lot as it is very "manja" and smart. hehee smile.gif I bought some cat food and keep for it because sometimes it will drop by to visit me. So will just give it a feast smile.gif
