I just love chocolate seal point cats! wub.gif
I hope that your friend will find a person who is responsible and at least knows the basic of keeping a kitten/cat.
Dont let the kitten go to anyone who ask for it especially somene who says I want the kitten because its cute. shakehead.gif
Just a friendly tip..... ask your friend to interview potential adopters just to make sure that his kitten will go to a responsible cat owner.

Good Luck!

please la, stop doing that to pcminc. if he can take good care of his cats why not. u think everyone can afford to bring cats to vets what not? but they still manage to take care of their cats nonetheless. stop being childish ok? move on.

Do you think someone who cant bring a sickly cat to the vet is a good and responsible owner? You rather let the cat suffer in pain? For me if you cant afford to sustain a pet better dont have one. Owning a pet is a lifetime commitment. You need to give it love, food, care, medical attention just like having a child. No money just go and buy a virtual pet. No need money at all cool2.gif

and u think those who live in kampung or small town bring their pet to see vet ? sometimes they have better ways on taking care of their cats. not just by seeing vets. that's what im trying to highlight.

some people just dont want to understand that.

I believe in the kampung they do have small government clinics for animals where medical officers are stationed there to assist the kampung folks when medical help is needed for their farm animals. I remember living in Beaufort town in Sabah where its about at least 2 hours drive from the city. During my time you can only reach the town by train as the highway was not completed yet. My cat was suffering from jaundice and there was not vet at all as it was a cowboy town. But even in a remote cowboy town there was a government jabatan haiwan where they could treat animals. nod.gif

i think owners who think that they can treat their sick cat by just leaving it be is very irresponsible. try doing that to their own children

Exactly rclxms.gif
Some human beings if we can call them human beings just think animals are living things that has no feelings!
Well wake up people!
Animals do have FEELINGS!
They can feel sad, happy and they can feel PAIN like we do.
Like i said dont want responsibility and dont want to waste money get a virtual pet la.
Maybe some of you are NOT passionate about animals but i AM.
I rather help animals as they remember and appreciate the people who help them unlike some human beings who take you for granted.

If its serious you can bring it to the vet in Taman Segar justblike demolationz said but bearbin mindbthe bill would be very expensive. If its not serious and can wait bring it to UPM in Serdang tomorrow. The charges more reasonable and some more got 15% discount.

Yup its true.
I normally send my cats there when there is something seriously wrong with them.
Upm is fully equipped and there are many doctors available.
Checking of animals very thorough.
Also given discount of 15% on overall bill.
Second visit consultation only RM15.
Worth it thumbup.gif

I need some serious urgent advice. I recently rescued a kitten and have been hand raising since. I have visited 3 different vets and have been told that the kitty maybe suffering from hydrocephalus. But none of them are certain.

I have been reading up on this illness and have seen some possible symtoms. I would like to get a final opinion of a really good vet and decide on what the best treatment would be. I don't want to wait till it's too old as it will be harder to treat. BTW, its only a month old. It's ver under developed, small for its age and weights just 100g.

I' appreciate some suggestions for a damn good doctor in the area of KL or PJ.
