Yes, some female and male cats will tend to lose weight or shed fur due to mating stress.
Its normal.

I am afraid not Usually when a cat has an eye infection due to colds we must ensure that the eyes are really taken care of. If not this will happen. If its not life threatening then I suppose you can leave it there but if it is then you have no choice but to have the eyes removed. |

Just to share some eye caring tips with you guys. This is what I have learned from my Vet. When a cat is having an eye infection e.g. redness in the eyes you can buy Nicole eye drops treat the eyes with this. For eyes that is swollen and protuding out NEVER use Teramycin as this contains Steroid and can cause the eye to burst!

But he is still lovely despite not being able to see! Same goes to those who own a blue eye white cat. They tend to lost their sight and hearing ability as they grow. Unlike humans, they have a very good sense of hearing and feel around the surroundings with their whiskers. Of course if you're talking aesthetically, yeah it's a shame that he'll have to lose one of the most expressive things a cat has. say hi to Tiger! he was born blind ![]() QUOTE(Aiko-chan @ Jan 20 2012, 12:54 PM) You have no choice. Besides Tiger, I have another normal cat Nemo. I always wondered about it. I would call their breed 'moggies' which means random-bred/non pedigree, basically our 'pasar cats' or 'longkang cats' as for fur colour/pattern, he's a brown-ticked tabby. This site has lots of pics of different coloured cats http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/intro.htm and this is an extremely detailed chart on colours http://www.cedarseed.com/fire/catstut6.html Added on January 20, 2012, 10:16 pm QUOTE(dfcloud @ Jan 20 2012, 11:27 AM) i just noticed my male cat (1year) is missing 1 canine tooth. different cats have different personalities meaning the taring only got 1 would this be the reason why he is so passive and submissive? neighbour cat come also he just look2 from far away memang penakut. or maybe just because next door cat is the alpha male btw this is him » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « just make sure the neighbour cat doesn't bully him too much. does the neighbour cat enter your house? QUOTE(verulin @ Jan 20 2012, 03:26 PM) you talking about me? lol Yesh lul. XD I thought blue eyed whites only lose their hearing? I would love to see the show...but so far They will either lose one of them or both. In most of the case, it's both but they are more towards the "poor ability" rather than completely lose it. Some are even born blind despite their healthy looking eyeball. Odd-eyed white cats will usually have poor hearing/ eye sight at the side of their blue eye. You back in hometown? If from PJ to mines, not too far whattt XDDD |
