QUOTE(nujikabane @ Dec 31 2014, 11:08 AM) Hence the reason why I am refraining from Whiskas and Friskies. I would avoid corn, but rice (brown or not) is a grain, and is not that bad, at least for me. The dry food I feed my two cats is a Chicken and Rice recipe for indoor cats. They're doing fine. But then, ProDiet contains rice (not brown rice) and corn, so is not so good too |

QUOTE(kizwan @ Dec 30 2014, 10:02 AM) No because my cat eyes don't have gunk. The only time I ever need to clean their eyes when my cats got Cat Flu. How bad the "gunk" is? How old is your cat? Basically if it looked out of the ordinary, it always good idea to consult the vet. i hv 2 cats, one is fine, the other will hv 'gunk' every morning she wakes up and it'll dry off and 'gunk-up' to a size of 1-2mm diameter 'gunk-ball'. i can leave it to let it drop off by itself or clean it it.doc says she is too lazy to clean her own face but it's kinda weird compared to her brother who dont hv gunk, i bet he dont really clean his face too as they nvr clean their face after meal like my old cats. my furry kids getting spayed today. hopefully they'll be doing fine. didnt see them for 2 days, missing them This post has been edited by jessteong: Jan 2 2015, 09:12 AM |

QUOTE(nujikabane @ Dec 28 2014, 02:37 AM) ^ LOL if that is the case, then okay la I always mixed their food with other brands, sometime more expensive but mostly cheaper brand. Not just to reduce cost but also varies the taste, and avoid them being picky on only one brand. Brands that I mixed before are BW, Friskies and RC. My cat gaining weight like 0.5kg per month since I adopted him 4 months ago.I'd like to bring back to my earlier questions : Alright, with the cost of living and the GST looming around the corner, I am thinking to mix my cat diet between BW, and a lower range cat food. Can anyone suggest which is the best options amongst these brands : Whiskas, Friskies, SmartHeart, proDiet. |

QUOTE What Exactly Are Animal By-Products? Basically, animal by-products are what’s left of a slaughtered animal after the edible parts have been removed. They include the waste2 of meat processing not intended for human consumption. For example… Feet Backs Livers Lungs Heads Brains Spleen Frames Kidneys Stomachs Intestines Undeveloped eggs Came across this & suddenly I asked myself : omg why did i feed my baby with theseeee Just bought a packet of Blackwood and I hope my baby likes it |

QUOTE(Dresperado @ Jan 3 2015, 05:56 AM) Came across this & suddenly I asked myself : omg why did i feed my baby with theseeee That not necessarily means they're bad though. Take an example of chicken by-product; chicken feet is mostly bones. It contain important nutrients, calcium and phosphorus. Chicken eggs and organs all contain great nutrients.Just bought a packet of Blackwood and I hope my baby likes it EDIT: BTW, I just googled about Intestines. In order for it to be included in Chicken by-product, they need to be cleaned properly. That's the procedure. I also read avoid buying food that contain anonymous by-product because we don't know the source. This post has been edited by kizwan: Jan 3 2015, 10:20 AM |

Did you checked in "longkang" or any place they can hide in the area? Hopefully someone saw them & rescue them already. |

I plan to send my cat for grooming soon.
However, I would like to know further; The term itself, what does it entails ? e.g. bathing, nail cutting? Anything else? |

QUOTE(kizwan @ Jan 3 2015, 06:21 PM) Sorry no.. I took her to the Animal Medical Centre but they quoted me around rm3500.. since i cant afford that much.. i had no other choice but to brought her back to my house and sent her to Rain the next day.. deposited rm400 after Rain advised that there's a high probability that the cat wont make it since her head is badly injured.. and its true after all.. the cat died the next day.. balance of rm60 were used for burial services.. |
