This is my 3-4 months old kittens, I picked them up at SPCA yesterday. They are very active and playful, constantly running in the house.

today morning my sis told me Chibi already gave birth to 4 kitten.
but for some reason Chibi's 1yo daughter Levi is taking them kitten away.
My sis caught her taking the last one to our neighbour house so she give the kitten back to Chibi.
I have to go to work that time and she is waiting for her driving lesson instructor to fetch her.
So no one at home to look for the other 3.

Why the heck did Levi took her lil sibling away? cry.gif
Chibi even climb in to my car searching for the kitten but nothing I can do cuz im already late sad.gif

Thanks, hehe. Btw, can I leave my kittens in the same room while I'm sleeping? Afraid they might scratch me by accidentally.

One of my kitten, the orange and the female always try to bite my leg. This is normal right?

Last night, I found the male is biting the female's neck and trying to mate. Is this even possible? Both have not been neutered yet.

Of course you can put the kittens in your room whilst you are sleeping.
My cats sleep with me thumbup.gif
Your cat is trying to play with you that is why it is biting your leg.
Yes, it is possible for them to mate as they are not neutered yet.
Between how old are they?
Some kittens start to mate as early as 4 to 5 months old.
Be careful you might end up with a few more kittens on your hands.
Get them neutered soonest possible.

They're about 4 months, they sleep, play, try to mate, and everything together. How much to neuter? Both of them or just the female?

Because these kittens are lucky as the previous owner brought them in to SPCA on Saturday, I got them yesterday. rclxms.gif

Added on April 2, 2012, 12:07 pmSPCA didn't put any fee for the kittens or cats for adoption, but there are fees for dogs. However they did encourage for donation instead.

A cat which lives at my friend's rumah sewa (as she has taken a liking to the guys) gave birth recently to 3 kittens. My friend and I went to see them. She welcomed us and I thought of taking one of them when they get bigger. Only problem is.. 2 days later, she disappeared along with the kittens. Then a day later, the mother appeared back again at the house.

Why did she shift them? :\ Did she eat them?

She will moved her kittens if she feels the place is not safe or loud or too bright. In a couple of weeks after gave birth, the mother can easily stress & she will moved her kittens if she feels the place is not safe. What I did when my cat gave birth is by preparing a box. She jump into the box herself. I put the box at a quiet & not too bright place. I also doesn't go near to her kittens for two or three weeks because I know the mother doesn't like it. Cat can take care of her newly born kittens just fine without human help.

Guys, I did some research and most opinions point to the fact that Whiskas and Friskies have more artificial flavoring and ingredients rather than pure and natural ingredient. So in long term, it's not good for the cats health.

I'm considering to switch to Royal Canin pet foods, okay or not?

This question had been raise many times and SPCA always giving a lot of excuses why they didn't neuter the kitten. As far as I know, shelter for animal will neuter the kittens/pups as young as 3 months (for female) because they can get on heat at 3 mths old. No fund for SPCA for spaying?? Fund keep coming in and they can afford to buy land and bungalow already.

this is why I prefer to support less well known shelters, they need just as much funding but not many people know of them.

I give my support and donation to FFF run by Sabrina Yeap.

Do you remember several years ago SPCA put 1 long hair kitten for adoption without spaying her?? Not long after that the new owner proudly declared in one of the animal forum the kitten were pregnant and offer to sell her kittens. At that time this issue was kecoh for a while.

Okay, how to train cats to poo or pee in the toilet? They're running wild and leaving scent all over the house. Tisha, the female poo-ed on my couch! sad.gif

Buy a litter box and litter sand. Fill the litter box with litter sand and put your cat there. Their natural instinct making your cat automotically digging the sand and start eliminate inside the box instead around your house.

Spay your female cat to avoid spraying. Some alpha female will urinated around the house to mark their territory. Not only male do that. How old is your female cat?
