hi , i did an update on my lumia , and now it unable to make outgoing calls not sure why ...


everytime when i make a call, the phone will show status "dialing" , then next thing is "ended".... what the heck ....


anyone facing the same problem after the latest update ? so frustrated having a phone that cannot make calls....

Try restore the firmware to an earlier restore point via Zune. Or remove your sim card and place it in again..

No, you can also read your User Manual.

The charge 8 hours advice is for those old battery technology, it's been so long so many years, they still giving this same advice until today. This one is a good example of "old folks tales", those olden days practice bring until today and nobody knows why or really still need to do, they just follow.

What's important is, try not to let your battery run down (means, phone turn off itself due to low battery). It is NOT GOOD for modern batteries.
For those older type batteries, you were adviced to charge ONLY when low batt
For Modern batteries, it's different, you can charge anytime you want, and you should prevent it from run low until the phone turn off itself.
This is NOT something new and it's been sooo many years.

Try to look for the MAS app in the Malaysia Marketplace but didn't found any. Is there an official app for MAS in the marketplace? or it just an edited pic?

The white lumia is kinda sexy. But as per white items, this looks VERY EASILY dirty.

Been using lumia 800 for about a week now. So far so good. Coming from iPhone, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 then to Galaxy Note. What I can say is after using Galaxy Note and change to Lumia is that the screen is tiny . But got used to it already. Its very responsive and stable. The last windows phone I used was Samsung Windows Phone 6.5. Windows Phone 7 is very different. Didn't regret changing as it is in my opinion as stable as iPhone and there's no force close like I experience with Galaxy Note and I didn't root it. The social integration is really cool and the apps collection is enough for me.
