yup, all gone. better choose wisely especially the live id. atm, malaysia marketplace still not fully functional some apps not appearing on the list.

no backup sms available yet, m$ is working hard on the backup feature. for now, better set your devices properly you don't want to end up factory reseting loosing all your messages.

I found that using Edge drains more battery power than using 3G. When I set the phone to use Edge, leave the phone idle for 24 hours, from fully charged to the next charge, the battery left 35% only. If using 3G under the same condition, battery left 85%. Edge gives me full 5 bars while 3G is 2-3 bars only.

If you turn off data and wifi; It should not drain much. When I first got it, I never turn anything on, my battery level hardly drop, after 5 hours, still got around 90%.

If you notice, the tiles have color and many background is white color; This will consume much battery power. Display is highest battery consumer, although many people thought that processor is the culprit. Process consume power, ONLY if utilized. Many people seems didn't know when left idle or low usage the processor doesn't work at full speed... So, dual core or quad core, is not the problem unless you utilize it at full power.
Android have this battery usage statistics, you will see the highest battery consumer is usually and always the display (unless you have some heavy process running in the background, which you will feel the phone battery is hot).

For Windows Phone, there're actually many things that uses the data/internet; but I'm not sure is it working all the time or how often? With people hub, it's getting live feeds from Windows Live, Facebook, twitter, etc. But I'm not exactly sure how it works, For the live feeds, it seems it only update when you access it? Or does it update frequently? Still unsure about this, but something I do feel the phone is a little bit hot, it seems some hidden process is running.

Yup, regarding the display, I'm just sharing info.

No idea why your phone acting so weird, as I said previous, it could be some hidden process is running, as sometimes, I notice the phone is a bit warm/hot when left idle for long time, seems something is running. This is very weird as we cannot check or see.
It'll be helpful is there is a battery usage monitor and even better a process monitor; but for process monitor, with the nature of Windows Phone following iOS footsteps, I doubt they will provide it.

my point is, you can never idle your 3G connection, hence put your phone with Edge will let your phone idle longer than 3G.

or you might want to use offline profile, not sure if WP7 have this or not as its available on N9, N8 and the rest of symbian phone

where can i get good casing options for lumia 800? i just pull the trigger..

Not sure if anyone knows this, but if your Lumia somehow hangs or cannot wake (black screen - but have power), as we can't remove the battery, you can try below steps:

1. Hold down the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time.
2. Wait for the phone to pulse vibrate three times.
3. The phone should now reboot.

last night i fully charged my phone before sleep.
this morning i woke up, the babttery life is 65%.
this is ridiculous..hope next update will fix this problem..
