Good thing for Malaysia to have a late launch for Lumia 800. Just go straight for Lumia 900. laugh.gif

the phone is very responsive.

I like the people app where you sync all the email,fb,twitter.
The market place is cool. The best thing is you can connect with ur XBOX console biggrin.gif

Do you need to be connected to the internet for it to work or you can load offline map into the app? Accuracy is good?

FIXED. Tegra 3 phone is cumming on Android.... tongue.gif

Anyway, this is do or die for NOKIA...if they failed this one, it's bye-bye NOKIA. Seriously, Windows Phone already lost all the momentum with the lack lustre sales....i don't see how NOKIA can reignite the fire no matter how many laser light shows they put up....once people grab their hands on one...it'll be basically almost the same thing they saw on other WP phones last year with some minor difference, since MS dun allow for OS customization.

there is no point to have a faster hardware to cater your OS to run smoother. even a single core hardware wp7 device can run smoother than a quad core device.

my custom wp7 OS running on 1GHz with 512MB RAM perform smoother and faster than a SGS II.

cmon, do not simply assume when u have never experience it before. u have to compare side by side to get a result. not mouth by mouth.

if you dont know, do not voice out. do some google. the first customizable ROM with customizable Metro UI is out there. see below to believe it.

Attached Image

there is less customization due to wp7 are designed to be clean and ease to obtain all information instantly. their tile can design to flip and contain updated information which it will alert the user even not opening the app.

user just want something simple, clean, easy and informative from wp7.

Agree.

Nokia is going ahead with Windows Phone to the mass market where most users prefer clean, simple and task-effective design. Information and option could be tweak and accessed easily.

I had tried Android. It is a good OS. Very customizable = many options however it may be confusing for most users who just wish above.

However, I choose Windows Phone due to its simplicity, as I am a simple smartphone user. Email, Song, Apps
It is true that the current WP lacks several vital features, but it had progressed a lot with Mango updates in a short time.

nope. u need data to startup for the first route. later on u can turn it off and it will still work. but it become less responsive.

It's the design of the android Os that requires it to need such a powerful processor to match the fluidity of IOS and wp7. You'll never notice any stutter on wp7 and ios no matter how busy the processor is. This is why ms never bothered to support dual core because wp7 really doesn't need it yet

windows doesnt allow dual core or whatever core processor..

its only 1ghz single core now.. so no need to blame nokia for that.

with single core it can perform better than android with single core so i dun see the problem here

Yes! I've tested it out at Singapore. It runs fluidly and fast although is a single core. FYI Lumia 800 & 710 runs on 1.4Ghz single core. smile.gif
