I tried the demo unit. Smooth as Apple IOS, not like laggy Android.

Beautiful looking unit too.

If I couldn't afford Apple, Lumia 800 would have been my next choice.

Which reminds me:
Try to opt for proper micro-SIM replacement from your service provider when possible.

DIY or "potong" version may lead to some issue including the risk to damage. Although damage is very rare, but there're issues whereby one day, suddenly the sim card cannot be read and no network. If that happens when you need to make important calls (or imagine emergency situation....).....
For safety, try to go for proper micro-SIM replacement.

actually i go to digi store at giant seri kembangan, and i told them i want to change to microsim, they said they only potong, no replacement lol.

anyway, i think my problem is gone. i dont know which steps solved it. i contacted digi support they said they reset my connection and ask me to reboot. i also take out the sim card and insert back.

now ok already.

Normal Digi Store don't have replacement, have to go to Digi Centre. As temporary, can do this, but have to careful and make sure they cut properly to avoid damaging the sim reader slot.

I recommend note. Its more a complete OS from what everyone is saying bigger screen , more expensive and might be replace soon. Most of those certain what they want will go for lumia aka WP7. Not sure better go for android

If you are not good at rooting, Note is not going to impress you that much.
- Touch Wiz is crap.
- Had serious bugs and performance issues which affected the battery life A LOT. If you want to wait for Samsung to release a bugfix, you have to wait till you are old. I finally fixed it on my own by changing the kernel

Once that was done, i was happy with my Note, but still sold it off because I felt it was overpriced and thers's nothing special except for the large screen. There are many other large screen Android phones (4"++) which can give me similar experience for less money.

Why not? It's basically just like iPhone, but it has homescreen and People Hub. It you're social network person, you will appreciate and like the People Hub.
Once you're used to it, it's hard to let go and switch to another phone that doesn't have such feature.

What iPhone have is probably more apps/games, more nice "animation" and also the branding.

Perhaps, it'll help if you know what you want and looking for?
1. What's important to you in a phone? Smooth? Fast? Camera? Or to show off and be proud of?
2. What apps/games that is important to you, especially the must have?
3. What else are you looking for?

Which phone is better it depends on how you prioritize each thing. In general, as a smartphone, technology world, iPhone is one of the worst smartphone with all the restrictions and limitations. BUT to a NORMAL user, they don't care about all those, all they care is: apps/games, BRAND, easy to use.
For individual, people who prioritize a camera, will consider a phone wit the best camera the best phone.
People who likes big screen, will love the Galaxy Note and calls it the best phone.
It really depends on YOU, what YOU want, what YOU are looking for. I can tell you the BEST smartphone, but if you don't appreciate all those things, then it's of no value to you. Most user just want a simple, easy to use phone and have many apps/games, in short, they don't really need a smartphone, but simply a simple phone that have many apps/games support.

At present, no. Lumia may have a more integrated social hub but it's not something essential that can't be replaced with an app. Many things still missing from the Lumia: tethering, video calling, and the 4S's camera is much better.
