sri sucks.. ive been 2 imbi b4 and the price is much lower than lowyatt man..

my friend went there and bought a dvd drive. He brought along his pc (cpu only) in hopes of getting their help to install it after buying. There were a group of 4-5 staff near the casing counter. He asked them to help install, and they jokingly asked him to pay rm15 or buy around that amount of soft drinks for them.

The thing is - it is not a joke, as if no pay, then they do not want to install. My friend then walked away. And to think he brought the cpu all the way...

Nuff said. May Sri Comp business bloom and become larger, and have more customers due to this thread. I really hope u r reading this. Bcoz i just love hearing how PR staff try to cover up and lie. Like hearing abt America defending freedom in the free world - better than coffee.

Why can't "your friend" install the drive himself?

It's hardly rocket science. Just pop open the case, affix screws and attach cables. Google for instructions. I'd charge him RM15 so he'd have some incentive to overcome stupidity.

And it hardly corresponds to mass-murder by a superpower. Have you an inability to keep things in perspective?

Just my own experience:

I bought my mobo and cpu in Sri not long ago. I updated the Bios using the supplied software and later found out the bios was corrupted. I can't even get into the Bios after rebooting. So I brought it back to Sri the next day, let the technical support check and they immediately replaced mine with a new board with no further question. When I got back and checked the newly replaced mobo, found out the Bios is the more recent version. That saved me a lot of trouble.

Now, the verdict: Thumbs up for Sri - my consumer right is well protected. The technician who look after my case would have given me same or even worst - older Bios if he just want to do his work and get his pay cheque done.
But in fact, he indeed wanted to help me, knowing the fact I was trying to update the Bios (I didn't ask for new Bios in the 1st place?)

You can certainly kill those people by sinking the whole ship. But don't you think you should give a chance for those who are really working with the right attitude?

then you should blame wacom but sri com in this case.
