when driving can feel the gear change mar.
maybe your dad just change the engine, not the gearbox..

performance carb can try weber. brows.gif

one thing about the 4g91 electro-carb is dat its very difficult to tune, so changing to another type of carburettor is a very wise thing to do. i'd suggest a fully mechanical carb (anyone wud do nicely, get a piston type carb like from the 4g15 carb) or a weber is even better for dat devilish growl and much more power in the top end. adding a turbo wud be a cherry on top of any milkshake, lol.

parts dat can directly be interchanged between those engines are the block+plus bottom end internals, cams, engine heads, the pistons are larger in bore so they arent a direct bolt on but can be shoved in the 91 wit lil process. i myself am using a 91, and luving it. iam planning to get a set of mivec pistons(higher compression) and the 93 block, a set of 272deg in/ex cams, and tune it up wit a piggy back.

i confirm he change to a 2nd hand lancer auto gb, last time he pecut until wira gb rosak dy.

yea, sure can feel the gear change, got a very big force.

and he told me that the carburetor is very old, do wira have twin carb mod?

or maybe putting the 4G93 or 4G92 carb would increase performance?

and also, anyone change performance hard suspension to the back before? passenger will be very uncomfortable?

btw, is all 4G15 SOHC? and 4G91 DOHC?

so the gear only change till the 3rd?

wira dun have twin carb, thats why have to look for weber.

not sure putting 92 or 93 carb will be better, i'm noob about carb tongue.gif

yup all 4G15 (for Wira/Saga) is SOHC, 4G91 is DOHC.

I am looking to lower my car using sport springs. What brand should i look at? I plan to change all four absorber also and couple with sport springs.

What problem am i looking at? Will tyre wear out faster? Any problems with the absorber if i do not use adjustables?

I am been planning for long time to do this but still very skeptical.

lowered car will induced more pressure to the drive shaft, absorber, bushing. these life span will be shorter. but i been running lowered for years and i would say the drive shaft last me about 2-3 years.
