Hi guys...just wanna ask...when our engine is running and the engine is hot...will the engine oil somehow like evaporate out??

this is my situation..yesterday when i was waiting my friend at house...i opened my bonet trying to check my wiper water...and then i found out something in the picture...lets see...



see those oil around the engine oil cap...

what cause that?? or its normal...haha..

Probably you should change your engine oil cap, it is not supposed to leak out

Rubber seal worn out..try to change that..wont cost you more than RM15..

I bought the cap for RM5 only.. or you can try to bend the metal holding inside so it became more tighten, temporary solution.

just change ur oil cap..i replace mine before,the symptom same like you..do u oftenly changing gear at hi-RPM?..

just change rubber seal.. 4 ringgit only (recently bought at puchong)

hey bro...btw mine is auto..

and i dont really rev...my maximum speed for my car is 100 only..haha...normally rev also till 3.5k Max..

wah bro,really r?..just 100kmh?..last time happened to me coz i'm using thin engine oil..idemitsu(10w-40)..can rev till 6k rpm..
the head cover hold the lite pressure and due to leakage at the cap,it force the oil to coming out from it..most probably the rubber already hardend and not seal like it should be..

walao...haha...ok...6k rpm..but manual car i think still ok but seriously even i drive my dad saga manual also i also did not rev more than 4k...i change gear often..haha...

i dunno why whenever i rev the car i have the feeling of "torturing" the engine..haha..anyway just my 2cent bro

p/s : just to add on my wira aredi 18 years old liao..haha...so dont dare to rev 99..

Car more powerful..Gear drag further
Fuel save not noticeable maybe due to my heavy foot..
Air cond compressor kick in not noticeable and not so frequent..
All lights seems brighter

AT wira? Yeah i was hoping the VS + GC will solve the throttle body shuddering issue when i start my car under the hot sun (just changed TB before this).

So FC still remains like last time? Bummer.

hey bro...rupanya shuddering issue is due to the TB problem? haha..mine oso have this prblem...whenever i park at my college..in the afternoon my car will like vibrate and dun want to move..haha...lepas a while then ok...is this problem of the TB or shud i install VS+GC? cause i think i havent change my TB yet since quite a time...haha

btw i also interested to install eric.tioh VS+GC... i quote his price aready...total RM250 for both...

Yeah, did ur orange engine light light up when the car shudders? Its TB, common problem in our wiras. Changed once jor, last time is the car will shudder, stutter and finally died off in the middle of the road

I am just hoping the VS and GC can regulate my car system. Yeap, 250 for both. Probably next week will fix with my friend together. Nvm lah as long the VS and GC gives the car the extra oomph, wira quite powerful on the highway. Mine still can hit 140 easily although the steering is shaking like mad, though they say its the balancing problem.
