if i recalled correctly this is the first time spurs are spending like no tomorrow... and it goes the right way with recognized players coming in and few youngsters promoted to first team basis like Rose, Holtby and Fryers.
would love to see Carroll plays more though.
never felt this excited to start the season since quite a long time supporting spurs and results from this first few matches are showing we are going the right way.
i think we will have a blast this season and if Bale does goes to Madrid, i'm sure he will regret his decision to force his way through by the end of the season.

what i saw here is the effect for having a dedicated person focusing the transfer market instead the manager himself so AVB can focus on building the team he think should be done.
if Bale stay he will have a lot of competition from Townsend and Lamela for the wide position where Townsend are very productive lately.

if we didn't buy lamela & eriksen, then i think we are gonna keep bale. he's off.

our purchases were on our transfer budget. we have at least 80m this season, if we assume that we have 30m at the start (we made a profit on transfers last season) and an additional 50m cheque from joe. from player sales, we get another 20m.

after bale, i think we are gonna break even this transfer window. gotta agree that it's ridiculous. that leaves us with another 80m to spend?

i'm hoping for one last trick from levy. coentrao for the remaining modric payment pls. then BAE can go back to france.
