as for the confidence thing; i'm not too sure. We had a terrible run-in too last season right? I was thinking it could be tiredness accumulating from the first half. Admittedly most of our midfielders (heck, even our centrebacks) always had this "niggling injuries" where they play 2-3 games and then sit one out. Can we get some guys in to increase their conditioning?

btw, i'm pessimistic with our chances to keep Modric... i think M City will try to raid some of our squad players.... any idea who can replace Modric (just in case?) and the departing Ade?

We still need a playmaker in midfield though. Current midfield is a rock but lacks the creative passes to set up play up front.

Doubt Mata would join, but would have loved if Spurs signed Maher if he didn't join with PSV... For me I'd want Pjanic from Roma. Get a deal, Lamela+Pjanic
