a well earned win but we certainly didn't looked that confident playing with the bottom club to be honest.  bassong was not getting his man covered, kaboul kept getting beaten to headers in the box, lennon was quite useless and our midfield could not hold them.

why didn't 'arry bring in Sandro to get a grip on the midfield?!!! this time, we got away with it but i would have been really upset if it ended up 2-2 like last week.

Agreed.!! Spurs tend to sit comfortably on their lead and usually let the opponent dictate pace of play. Not their usual self like last season. I've never been comfortable with Assou-Ekotto, good attacking left back but defending is a little suspect. Not sure he's got the pace to match opponent's right wingers. Lennon needs more games to get into the groove.

Absolutely poor performance by Spurs in 1st half. Actually its very easy to unsettle Spurs from playing their game. (Same thing in the Fulham match.) Just keep control in ball possession ,tight in the midfield, go hard for every ball in the 1st 10 minutes and SPurs will be very unsettled. Adebayor seems to be giving away a lot of balls passed to him but credit to Stoke defenders, even though they are quite 'old' (Woodgate and Huth). I see also weakness in our left back.

The last 3 games needless to say will determine 3rd and 4th spot. (Even Arsenal is not 'safe' for CL next season.) Newcastle and Chelsea all will have quite tough games, but Chelsea is the one we gotta watch out for to clinch that 4th spot.

COYS!! Focus! Focus! Focus!

Spurs have to go for that 3rd position...have to assume that Chelsea will win CL. Chelsea knows that 4th spot almost out of reach, so will die hard to win CL to secure next season.

will be a great match - Arsenal fighting for CL place and City for EPL championship...but I think City will be the hungrier one

This season is ending with one of the most exciting finishes. Top 6 teams all fighting to the last for something.

Would be great if they can add on Juan Mata, but that would be wishful thinking I suppose since MU and Arsenal are gonna make their bids for him

Tottenham have agreed a €30m deal for Erik Lamela.
The White Hart Lane club have been chasing the Roma striker for a number of weeks and Laure James says the clubs have now agreed the terms of a sale.

This is gonna be a good season...now for Juan Mata to top it all off

Thought he played right wing? Would be a great signing though. He has loads of potential.

Team is looking pretty good so far

Townsend was impressive in that game, just need more games to make a big impact. Looking forward to the next game with Norwich.

I believe the improvement in their fitness levels played a very big part in their recent runs, and quite a number of their goals were scored in the last minutes of the game.

As my previous post in 2013 when I first saw him play, young Harry Kane is gonna go places. England call up is imminent.
