exactly... standing outside under the clear sky still can't get even 1 satellite.. by the way, Asus Malaysia support team is lack of knowledge... they call me up and said the GPS cannot work because Prime doesn't have place for SIMCARD ..........  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

Ok, here are pics of my tablet (dock is at home, will take pics later.

The cloudiness and microbubbles did disappear (just rub the bubbles away). i think the bubbles were from the solution spray.

The back of the tablet was better =)

applying the 2 biggest pieces, front & back was the hardest. the corners were easier than i thought. just have a hair dryer ready =p

It's true though, GPS on most Primes won't work without internet connectivity. So far on this forum not many can actually say they can get a lock-on to a satellite without turning on their wifi connection.

although it might be true that you have to turn on wifi to use the gps, but you are supposed to be able to use the gps without the wifi turned on as well. although Asus has removed the GPS function in their specs list, but when we bought it, it was written there 'GPS', so we are supposed to get GPS! >:(

no.. you may have confuse between Google map lock-on and GPS signal I meant here. If I need to load a map or get a direction, of cause I need a connection, but if I just need GPS signal, is ridiculous if connection is needed right?
