i'm currently thinking of trade in my vios(06 version) to mazda3. im eyeing on 1.6l hatchback model.

do you think it is wise to switch from vios to mazda 3 since both are not much different interms of CC (1.5l vs 1.6l) and HP(109hp vs 103hp. though Mazda 3 looks more stylish and better interior quality.

how bout mileage on mazda3? is it good? my vios currently can run RM50/400km, thats equal to15.2km per litre.

should i wait for 2012 model (skyactive engine) or get the current model? i hope all the M3 owners can enlighten me before i making up my decision, your advise are highly appreciated. thanks!

me too driving M3 2.0.. Mileage depends on the driver and i suppose m3 1.6 cannot match vios 1.5.. but if you can wait for skyactiv.. why not wait.. who knows by that time the facelift will include additional features but higher price tag..

my humble opinion M3 wins in handling and design over current vios..

I am driving a mazda3 2.0 so I can't really comment about 1.6.

You cannot really compare FC between vios and mazda3... Vios is too good in terms of FC, most cars can't come close with it

Please do take note for the past few pages here, there are many owners complaining about car noises and lousy customer service by Bermaz.. you can take all these into consideration before buying the car...

Despite all these, I believe most of us are satisfied with our car due to it's great handling, nice interior and sporty design

Took my car to G'zox Sunway branch to polish and coating yesterday at 11am. Told me approximately 1 1/2 hours to finish.when they are about done, I went to check my car for the second time and found a paint coating chipped off from my headlanp area. It was at least 1cm in diameter. I asked the superwiser what happened to it, and his staff told him the chip was already there.. I just inspected the car before I sent the car so I was sure it wasn't there. The supervisor didn't look convinced that it was their fault until I found another deep paint scratch at my back door handle. It was at least 5 inches long this time!  The superwiser only took some cheap paint to cover the paint chip area and asked if I was satisfied! Of course i was furious and said NO! The colour was not even close to the original!

At last he took it to the car paint shop to touch up the chipped off area. I called up the manager named Thomas and complaint about my dissatisfaction. He seemed not too keen in talking to me and told me its normal these things happened. That was the stupidest thing to say and it didn't make me feel any better. I waited from 11am till 6pm. 7 freaking hours!!! I canceled 4 appointments just to sit there and wait.

The paint job was not even close to perfect. If u look closely u can still see tiny dent. They apply me free anti rain repellent as their compensation. Anti rain repellent? I can even apply it myself!

The boss didn't even call back to ask if I'm satisfied and if anything is okay at my side. I took my car for them expecting them to do a good job detailing my car in the end they made it worse and did nothing to compensate me for my 7hours!!!

G'zox Sunway Branch gave me and my car the worst service even. I would suggest you guys to think twice before sending ur beloved car for them to handle.

One more thing I found out this morning, where there's a tiny dent on the silver panel on the passenger side. Please do not bring your car to G'zox if you value your car.

haha..they raised price for this year so that they can give u discount 1500 to hit the old price, last year is old price discount another 1500...

Sigh... seems like i should have make a move a few months earlier. Old price with discount of 1500, it's like a saving of 3k.....
Thinking, should i wait a bit longer now.....

having said that...on my first ride, or rather first few accelarations, the stretch downhill from solaris dutamas towards the KL Jln Duta Court, on a deserted midnite road just moments ago, i nearly 'buang' kereta taking the downhill at abt 120km/h and a slight curvy road....fuhh....still alive to write now! this one got anything to do with the lack of Traction Control on the M3?
