at this hour of the day, 2pm, hot sun scorching n burning....got into the car, still feeling the extreme heat...despite the tint....

is this normal even for good brands like 3M or Llumar in this kind of extreme heat? to feel the heat inside the car despite the tint?

I reached 175km/h on MEX highway yesterday and the steering wheel still firm and no vibration on either pedal. But kinda bumpy for the passenger side. Really fun to drive car!! smile.gif zoom zoom....!

Are using any particular brand for tinting or you dont have one?

I think what ever tint u use also would feel hot under the sun but will cool faster when on the aircond. These are based from what i read in the forum before.

I don't own any tint at the moment. Been doing some research about it but so far nobody say it wont be hot under the sun. I guess good tint will help to protect your car interior better.

Could be wrong. Maybe some experience user here can help.

Whatever good tint that you have installed on the car, it will still hot after you park the car under the hot sun.... but the better the tint you installed, the faster the temperature cools down after you turn on the aircond.

On top of that, tint films will also protect from UV ray, hence protecting the interior color from fading and also preventing leather cracks smile.gif

If you want to have a cooler car temperature, then you can wind the car windows slightly down and leave a 1 or 2 fingers gap before leaving your car parked under the sun. That way, the heat will not get trapped in the car and coupled with heat rejection from the window films, your car will be much cooler smile.gif

I'm using Armor Guard.. so far very satisfied with it.. even under scorching heat outside.. I dun feeling the burning sun inside even when my skin directly under the sun when driving... but paid ~RM1200 (after 800 discount last time).. how much is your 3M price? It it top of the range model?
